"Lock stock & barrel is one of my favorite steak houses in Boise. If you like a well prepared steak, prime rib, or old fashion; it will be one of yours too. It is rare that a salad bar it ordered these days, but LS&B still does. It is business, so make a reservation"
"This was our first visit to LS&B. The food was wonderful and cooked to perfection. We each had the sirloin with horseradish mashed potatoes and salad bar. The salad bar was nice and you had soup along with it. The only thing that I would say needed some improvement was service. While our server was nice and decently attentive, not as much as with other guests. Also, the manager was visiting tables but didn't stop by our table. This tends to happen as we don't generally order alcoholic drinks, appetizers, etc. We just can't eat or drink all of that anymore and especially with dietary restrictions. So just a note to make sure to "see" all of your guests regardless of how much or expensive they might be ordering. We always tip as though we have ordered more so that doesn't change. We hope to return. Also, as a plus they had live music that was nice... at a nice volume and a good little band for a dinner event."
"He had a great experience. Server was very helpful and friendly but not at all overly so. I had a cocktail and it was delicious. My husband and I had the clams as an appetizer and split the mozzarella steak entree -- it was more than enough food for the both of us. We were there at 5:30 on a Wednesday night -- not too crowded or loud. As we were leaving there was a group setting up to play in the bar area that we weresprry to miss. So, as a heads up, if you like live music go a little later!"
"Did a birthday meal here on a Friday evening at 7pm. Place was pretty packed. Older trio came on playing 60s and 70s music in the bar and they were pretty good. Cocktail took 22 minutes to get. Not so good. Had salad bar and it was nice but average. Prime rib was tasty, but dry in center but came soaked in au jus. Horseradish Mashed potatoes were good. Wife had the skewered marinated steak medallions and they were delicious. Service got better as night went on. A line cook quit right about when we got there but the staff got through it well. Solid 4 stars."
"From the outside it doesn’t look to impressive. Same with the inside. The service and staff were very friendly and efficient. Got the mozzarella wedge for an appetizer and it was amazing. For the main course I got the filet mignon with the lobster tail. The filet was perfectly cooked to my order and the lobster was fresh and tasted wonderful. Would definitely suggest this place if you are looking for good high quality steak and lobster."
