"With a family we were very happy to stop here. There isn’t much between Idaho City and Stanley for a restroom break and something to eat. This was our last hope past Lowman and it was excellent. The people working here were very friendly. There’s a little dining area and space with snacks, drinks etc. Will stop again on future road trips."

"I got into a car accident and this gentlemen at the store stayed there for 3 hours past close as I waited for my tow truck. Offered drinks; made fries for us to snack on after the kitchen had been shut down. Ran by Really genuine and caring people. You don’t find customer service like this anymore. And the food is amazing to top it off."

"Room are not clean at all. See pictures. Everything at the store is 2-3x more expensive than anywhere else so bring your own stuff. $22 for a case of bottled water?! Wow. No paper towels in cabins. Stayed 7 nights and no trash was picked up at all and no cleaning while we stayed there. We didn't eat at resturant bc It was so expensive. Location was great. Staff was not. They kinda act like they are annoyed, like you're bothering them. Pics below of ceiling fan, bathroom fan and floors right when we got there. $25 charge if you don't do your dishes/clean kitchen..."

"Chris and Julie do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. They go the extra mile. Good food and a very clean room. Not a big space but what you need... comfortable bed, hot water, and fridge. Free wifi with a consistent connection."

"So this review is only for the restaurant and not the rooms. To start, I have passed by here several times and never really bothered to make a stop. Today, that changed when my wife and I needed a bite to eat after our day at Stanley Lake. Not what we were expecting for a celebratory meal on our anniversary (33)! It was good. The bread was not hard and not soaked with butter considering I had a mean bacon burger with cheese and onion rings. My wife had a cheese burger and fries with a cold lemonade to finish it off. It was dang good. The place is small, but yet a perfect size for year round service and staff that are on top of it. The wait for the food was not long, asked three times within 10 -15 how the food was, need anything, and quick to bring what I needed. NAPKINS GUYS. Food is juicy, perfect portion and seriously, I will probably hit it before leaving the area. Staff is very friendly and they do have a small store with some good stuff for the drive back home. Try it, won’t be let down."
