"We used to love this place. The last few times the food has been mediocre. How does a Greek place mess up humus, the humus has no flavor, the meat wasn't great either. I think we'll be looking for something new next time we want gyros."

"First visit. Ordered the falafel sandwich...very good. The falafel were perfectly cooked and delicious. The lettuce, tomato (nicely ripe) and onion were fresh and tasty. Great forva quick reasonable lunch. I'll be back!"

"I love the people here I was walking along and just stopped for a Pepsi and started chatting and boy was I happily surprised at how cool the workers were they were responsive to other customers professionally and were very tasteful in there conversations It really made my day I had an old review but I deleted it for this one shout out to bailee and Joey two really great people that made me one happy shopper. I'm definitely going back for seconds the food taste great anyways I allways enjoy a good gyro. They are very tasty. Im not Shure what else reto say except if your looking for a great atmosphere friendly service and great food go to the gyro shack makes my day every time I go there that's what I've come to hope for and look forward to for a local shopping experience here in Boise. "Last night I ordered 2 original gyros substituting chicken for the meat and asking for extra tomato and onion. The young man making them took the time to come over and ask me if I would like lettuce on it as well. You could tell the two sandwiches were carefully made and symmetrical with every bite having the majority of condiments and vegetables. It was also neatly wrapped. The young lady taking the money was equally nice and friendly. Great job Gyro Shack State street!"
