"Love Cafe Rio!! This location... not at all. Avoid it if possible! They probably do well with online orders so can give the minimum customer service possible. We've tried it a handful of times. It's always pretty empty but takes longer than any Cafe Rio we go to. Today there was no one in line and when we went up to order, the manager? was working on an online order I assume and she said "You'll have to wait" and continued working on the order. After waiting another 5 minutes or so and no other info offered, I told her I don't think they understand the idea of a restaurant. We exchanged words, she wouldn't tell me her name and then flicked her hand at the door and told me to go... haha. We went to the location by the mall and had a great lunch."

"Store has historically had a culture of focusing on online orders instead of helping customers physically in the store—in other words, horrid customer service. My wife and I waited in line for 30 minutes when no one else was in the store, while the employees only focused on doing online orders and messing around the entire time. It wasn’t until after 30 minutes of waiting when other customers started walking in. As the line piled up, the employees only then turned their attention to people in line. However, only one employee focused on helping customers in the store and one correctly made more tortillas since they were running low, but there were still more employees focused on online orders. Horrible customer service! Do not come here due to the online order culture. Update: Management came up to us on their own initiative and gave us our meals for free and free drinks as an apology. Great work resolving the issue Cafe Rio! Impressed with this positive change in customer service that has been sorely lacking the past year or so."

"Very nice that this place is open past 8pm we needed a place to eat before attending a concert downtown at the knitting factory and we’re successful! The restaurant itself wasn’t super clean there was clutter here and there and there weren’t a lot of customers at the time which was nice, we didn’t have to wait. The SERVICE though on the other hand was sublime. The young man who took our order was extremely kind, patient and helpful. His name is IAN and if I was able to leave feedback to management I would definitely recommend promoting this employee so he sticks around! Customer Service like this is what keeps restaurants competitive and in business. The other employee was nice too that checked us out and took our payment. We ordered a pork burrito which was very good (I consumed it in its entirety, and my partner ordered a quesadilla. The fountain drink area is nice and offered Italian soda flavors which is unique. Thanks again IAN you were wonderful. Cafe rio is a nice alternative to ‘fast food’ and it is a great calorie to dollar ratio! Best"

"My mobile order was 55 minutes past the promised time. My salad was nothing but shredded lettuce, none of the correct toppings, and nowhere near the cafe Rio standard awesomeness. All of the quesadillas were cold and hard as a rock. Love love love Cafe Rio and will definitely be back…just not to this location. $50 down the drain. Kids won’t touch the quesadillas. Super don’t blame them."
