"Genuinely one of the most amazing places I've ever eaten. Came with a group of friends for a school trio, and I am so glad we chose here. Honestly like forgot whatever you are doing in boise and make this place a priority. Owner was such an awesome guy to chat with. Food reminded me of old childhood memories from eating at real Mexican food spots. It was absolutely delicious, and they even brought out some crazy good salsa, it was so smokey and nice. The beef was incredibly well done (not like the temp cooking, like it was actually amazing). And the chips were perfect Absolutely love this place, the food, and the staff. I will definitely come back"

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There was a small problem with my order. My waitress handled it quickly and very satisfactory! I'll be back for sure!"

"We love Cafe Ole and the quality of food, but today, was hands down the worst service we’ve had. Our server would bring things to the table and walk away without any communication and any requests we had gave the feeling we were inconveniencing her. Those requests were to fix issues like still needing silverware, several order issues, and asking for things that had been ordered but forgotten. For some reason, it’s like today’s crew would rather work elsewhere and had no issue with displaying that to the customers. Back to the Meridian location as we’ve only encountered happy people there that do a great job and enjoy customer service."

"This was the first time I'd been to Cafe Ole in years and years. The deor and atmosphere were good and it was clean. The service was top notch! The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. But then..... The people at the table next to us got their food. All of the sudden, chaos happened. As we look over we see a big fingernail laying on the table. It was in the beans! Gross! The couple got up and left. We all got a little nauseous, as we had just finished out food."
