"Was looking for a winter tire change service (I already have the tires themselves)- Costco Tire Center website didn’t have any appointments for today, but their site says “Walk-ins welcome!” clearly, and provides a phone number to call to check on wait times. I called 5 times over the course of an hour, and let it ring over a dozen times each time- no answer. Since I really need this done today, and haven’t been able to take it in until today, I decided to load up my tires and walk in. Perfectly happy to drop it off and wait all day for it be done since I didn’t have an appointment. I knew it was a gamble on my part, but their website says walk-ins are welcome. When I arrived there were several people in line in front of me, so I stood there waiting for ~15 minutes. Finally, got to the counter and the guy just told me, “I can’t do it.” and didn’t seem to care at all that I’d come all that way and stood in line only to be turned away. This could have been avoided if someone just picked up the phone one of the five times I called over the course of an hour. SURELY, they could have taken 10 seconds to answer, put me on hold, and then take 60 seconds between their next customer in line to just tell me this over the phone. But doesn’t seem like this guy really cared about anything besides doing the bare minimum for his job."

"Very disappointed at the Tire Technician named Christian Mascorro today. I waited for 15 minutes before seeing him and he sounded like I (the customer) need to know my exact tire size, aluminum or steel wheels....I gave hime the model, the year and clearly told him the tires on my truck were the steel but he told me I had two options either 255 or 275 and he couldn't do it if he don't see the truck .......he got me confuses so I asked for the manager who finally saved the day. It took me more than 30 minutes just to communicate about the tires and how bad the customer service Costco's tire has offered me. My wife and kids were waiting in the car for over thirty minutes. I hope they have more technician at the desk instead of Christian stood there by himself and confused others like the one before me"

"Costco Tire Shop is the best. Took advantage on one of their continuous sales…this time it was for Bridgestone snow tires in early December. Website said tires would be available in 5-10 days and installation was 2 weeks out… and snow was on the way. On a whim I stopped by and found the tires in stock and was told they could squeeze me in. Left the car and got a call 3 hours later. Costco here in Idaho has a snow tire package…$50 to swap out winter tires for original tires and rebalance in spring. Each tire was placed in a nice big plastic bag. Nice touch Costco. Bridgestone Blizzaks for $150 a tire was best price around by far!"

"What is the point of having a phone number if you never answer the phone. Also, if I have an appointment scheduled 2 weeks out why are walk-ins getting taken care of first. It does not take 5 hours to put new tires on... I wont be using the tire center again."
