Jiffy Lube

"Really didn’t want to write this because I love Jiffy Lube.. I worked at a VERY busy location for almost 5 years when I was a kid.. 60ish car a day average across the year, we even had record summer days over 80 cars a day.. $100+ average ticket and that was back when it was 36.99 for SS.. In Treasure Valley Jiffy Lube numbers, those are incredible car counts.. We were a very busy but proud crew of guys. First time at this location and there are too many things that are horrifically wrong to list here.. Just believe me when I say, it’s run and managed extremely poorly.. Owners need to overhaul this entire place, retrain staff and everything. Honestly can’t even blame the crew, this is a top down issue for sure. I don’t know if the owners of this franchise have multiple locations in the valley but they need to either be more involved or get a regional manager or something of the sort ASAP. The speed they’re moving at and the lack of urgency on top of the other issues, this place can’t be doing more than 20-30 cars a day, maybe on a busy day they’re going over that. I doubt it though. "The guys were pretty irritated with me asking any questions. I took my car in they pretty much asked for the keys and then wouldn’t talk to me otherwise. I had to walk into the garage to tell them I had an issue with my tire making a grinding noise and to just please visually inspect to see if there was something causing it. He rolled his eyes but I guess did it anyway. I asked if they could check the transmission fluid and said they wouldn’t do that for my car. I think it’s fair to let the customer know what services need to be done or what can’t be done before starting but they pretty much didn’t clear anything with me until it was already done. Plus they kept the front door locked so I couldn’t walk outside I would have had to go through their garage to go anywhere which I assumed they wouldn’t appreciate."

"The crew was not pushy at all. They tested all of my vehicle fluids and let me know they were alright. I'm used to these types of places trying anything to upgrade me but these guys offered and then moved on. I appreciated the service I received. A woman waiting along with me, said she felt similarly impressed with them."

"I have been coming to this location for 7 years and I will not be coming here anymore. The service has really been declining. For a while it has seemed like they just want to do the bare minimum, they no longer suggest extra things my car might need, they dont show me that my fluids are topped off like they used to. Now they can't even be bothered to do the things I ask for. I came in today for an oil change and headlight replacement. I got the oil change but when I got home I realized they did not replace my headlight."

"Excellent service! I have always gone to Honda for my oil changes and now I will always come here. Dillon, Richard, Donovan provides excellent customer service and made sure I was taken care. They were also efficient and did quality work. They make Jiffy Lube look good."
