Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

"I was absolutely not going to report this and told the store manager I wouldn't. I don't like to come for a business unless its absolutely warranted. I premise by saying I am not offended by the helpful manager or female store clerk. I am offended by the arrogant rude pizza maker with the pulse tattoo on his left forearm. I went to this Papa Murphy's to order pizza for my family. I asked that one of the pizzas be only half dairy free and was told that they couldn't do that. I said that's fine if it's a big deal then we can just do all Dairy pizzas. The Manager said they could do it this one time but generally that "they don't do this". What absolutely got me was after all of this one of the pizza makers, I busted him putting lots of cheese on the entire Pizza that I had asked only have Dairy on half. What's worse is that rather than do the right thing when no one is looking and just remake it or move the cheese he placed on there he left the dairy cheese on the pizza and continued cheesing the other side with the remaining Dairy cheese. And then proceeded to put dairy-free cheese on top of dairy cheese on the pizza side that was supposed to be dairy-free. I saw him do this and spoke up to say that he could not put non dairy on top of dairy and call it good. He copped an attitude with me and said "this is why we don't do half". My thought was no this is why you just do the right thing the first time even when you think no one is watching. It had less to do with the cheese than an employee of Papa Murphy's doing the wrong thing and trying to cover it up and then getting an attitude when he got busted for doing so. Meaning he would have done this with either half or full pizza. As I said before the manager was complimentary enough to be able to to do this and then when the employee messed up, caught an attitude- that absolutely angered me to the point of writing this review. As respectfully as I could because I have worked in the food industry, I stated to the employee who handed me my pizzas, thank you for them, but going forward just a word of advice maybe be kinder to your customers. I will never go to this location ever again and I will tell anybody who will listen not to either. It has nothing to do with the dairy-free cheese or special order. It has everything to do with a bad attitude employee who chooses to do the wrong thing and rather than respectfully own it chooses to continue to do the wrong thing and catch an attitude with the customer. I'm not worried about a single demarcation of cheese that will touch Dairy what I am worried about is my whole dinner covered in something I cannot have and finding out later in a medical mishap."

"I ordered a pizza online for that location and when I went to pick it up and it wasn't ready, in fact they hadn't even started on it. There were no customers -or- no orders being completed. The guy walked out of the back and said they had too much work to do and that's why it wasn't completed. Since I couldn't have my pizza I asked that he void the transaction. He agreed.... but he did not....... I paid for a pizza that I never got.....Now I have to spend more of my time fixing a problem that the employee should have. Update: 3/6 Management ownership referred to corporate, After multiple emails and chatbots corporate referred me back to branch, No remedy ! No refund, a classic example of Franchise apathy."

"I like to go get pizza on Tuesdays and get the stuffed crust pizza. It's very filling. I also like to go when they have the taco pizza. There's only a few things I would change. Getting more toppings. Like alfredo sauce and I wish they had that pizza more often or for longer. I wish they would try other pizzas there. Like a breakfast pizza or some of the toppings that pizza pie cafe had. I love that they accept EBT cards. I probably go there 3-4 times a year. Never been disappointed. Always gotten yummy tasting food and the employees have always been friendly."

"I recently moved to the area and had a birthday and made use of a discount. Tried a completely different pizza, than I typically order. The Thai Chicken pizza that was made for me was very good!! Thank you, guys!!"

"Made order online, called just to double check that it went through right and the guy wrote down the exact personalizations. Picked up pizza, got home just to realize they still made it completely wrong. Called and picked up correct pizza, no apology whatsoever, and get home again to find they had piled toppings so thick on half of it, it took an hour to cook and still didn’t cook crust completely."
