"I ordered a pair of vans slip ons with an octopus print on the canvas. I was not onlying sent the wrong shoes, but also the Wrong size and wrong brand. I also missed out on the size I needed because Sarah at store 933 hand picked the wrong pair so their store wouldn't get dinged for missing the sale instead of just canceling the order. I don't know if I'll ever feel comfortable ordering from journeys again because I can't trust that what I purchased is what I'll get sent. Very disappointed. Would have rather they just cancel my order Instead of wasting my time."
"I would not recommend buying anything from them. 30 return policy. I bought a pair of Dr Martens and the heel ended up splitting less than 60 days after purchase. Wouldn't replace or refund because past the 30 day return policy. Said it was due to normal wear and tear. Sad!"
"This place is awesome! I have a teenage granddaughter, who is VERY particular, so getting the right shoe is essential if I want to keep my “cool” status. Fey has helped me in the store as well as on the phone. She is very knowledgeable about the inventory and definitely know what the teenagers are looking for. I highly recommend this place! Thank Fey!!!"
"Very kind and helpful staff! The store was very clean and tidy. Shoes on display all looked nice not misplaced, where all located under correct brand names listed above. The chairs are not very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Although the wait time for them to get the correct size for my foot out of the back was not very long at all, even though I had multiple shoes I wanted them to get down."
"Shady business practices, alters shoes sizes just to make a sale. Is it worth your company name just to make a buck? I've bought shoes at various journeys over the past couple years. The last pair I bought (black globe fusions) was the last pair of these shoes they had in stock in my size. They carried a hefty $125 price tag but it was worth it because I can't ever find these shoes in my size. So fast forward almost 11 months. There just isn't something right about these shoes. One feels right on and the other feels like it's loose and provides absolutely no ankle stabilization which is very important to me.. I figured with the ankle issues over had (over a dozen surgeries and an unknown amount of years in therapy) that maybe that foot just swelled up and loosened the shoe. So I only wore them when necessary because they actually started hurting my bad foot anytime I wore them. So let's go through this morning. It's raining out and I decide to wear my globe fusions. So I pull the wrap around integrated tongue/sock back and went to slide My foot in and noticed a sticker peeling off the top of the sizing sicker. What the heck is it? It's another sizing sticker, stuck over the top of the actual sizing sticker of the shoe. What in the actual... they took a sticker that says the size is 5.5 and put it over the top of the shoe's actual sizing sticker. The shoes actual size is a 6 So now I'm frantically searching on Amazon for a pair of shoes because they are only available in Australia now. What kind of shady business practices say that you can lie to a customer, alter the description of the shoe, alter the sizing label of the shoe and sell a pair of shoes that you darn well know have two different sizes all without telling the customer. Now in the last year I've had multiple different MRI and imaging done on that foot thinking I did something to hurt it.. again.. when in reality it was because I was lied to about the size of shoe I was buying. Thanks journeys. You guys are awesome! (Sarcasm)"
