"Had the Fun Guy Burger. Outstanding!!! Skinny salty fries - exactly the way fries should always be. Price was fair. I give this place top marks. My ONLY criticism would be… let me have a Diet Coke with this amazing burger & fries. (No soft drinks -1)"
"Finally, a place we can all agree on in my family. We love burgers, and this place hits for the 6 year old and the for the grown-ups. We've been going since it opened, and the quality and consistency keep us coming back. The Old Tin Can is a staple and will always satisfy that burger craving. They have the best employees working there (shout out to the woman who just moved from Manhattan!) and fun events like brewery takeovers. Also, the shakes are...**chefs kiss** and they sell Tractor soda products, which are my fave! Can't say enough about the Burger Dock and the void in CDA it now fills."
"I really want to love this restaurant, but it is very frustrating to receive an incorrect order EVERY SINGLE TIME and I’m not exaggerating. I’m not one to complain and so I always just pick things off or go back and ask for a side of things (which they want to charge me for). Our family has a lot of food allergies so the last time we ordered to go, I asked to talk to the manager to place my order to be sure that our order was correct. She said “please let me know when things are not right because I need to talk to my employees if things are wrong so we can correct them.” So I did just that when I opened my order and found that it was incorrect again. When I called and asked to speak to her, her response was “there’s no way it could be wrong.” I said I wouldn’t lie and that I could send in a picture and she said we don’t give out employee cell phone numbers. Her response was awful, she didn’t try to make it right and any way…. in fact, she made me feel bad for calling and complaining when she specifically asked me to do that. We said we would never go back…… Well, today, I decided to give them another try, and guess what…my order was wrong not once, but twice. My husband walked in and placed our order and handed the gal the piece of paper with the modifications, asking for no tomatoes and no blue cheese dressing (not hard). When I opened it, it was drenched in blue cheese dressing. So I called and they said they would correct it. I repeated my order with the modifications. When I opened the “corrected” order, this is what I got (see the attached picture). Tomatoes, but no pumpkin seeds, and next to no toppings. AWFUL…..absolutely ridiculous."
"The place was pretty busy so people must like it. Great location downtown. The prices are a bit high with burgers from $12+ with no fries. The large bakery of fries is plenty to split though, we shared between 3 people and didn't finish them. The burgers were really tasty. The only turn off I had was the patty being frozen. Especially for this price you kind of expect more than a frozen patty, but my girls liked it so I'm sure we'll be back to try some different burgers. The secret sauce is awesome!"
"Great place with clean and friendly service. Burgers were cooked perfect at medium. Hilarious to read reviews by people saying the burger was greasy. Grease comes from a fryer. Its called good quality meat, juicy and not cooked to oblivion. I literally would come here just for the fries! Hand cut and seasoned perfectly. Definitely will be back!"
