"We stopped in for a bite to eat because we've had a couple great experiences in the past eating here. We had called cuz as we pulled up all the outside lights were off? The waitress informed us it's cuz they were in the process of closing in an hour and a half!! We were the only 2 customers in the place and they were blasting music that was vulgar and just disgusting. My husband and I still ordered and the food was even worse, well mine was. First of all the cook came out while he was cooking and had a dog in a sling on his belly! I love dogs but really?? He's cooking!!!!! I got the Mushroom n Swiss burger and it was just dripping with so much grease and just fell apart after my 2nd bite. My husband had the Chicken Sandwich and he thought it was good. It was stressful and not relaxing. After being on the road driving it was NOT a place that we will stop at again."
"Neat place to eat The bar tender with the blue hair ..made my drink A black berry cosmopolitan. Was amazing. It was on point. I tell ya I haven't had one that good since 1999 !"
"Very disappointing. We have eaten here a few times and have had great service but just "okay" food. The other night, I ordered the "Fish & Chips". What I received was three tiny pieces of fish, a tiny amount of french fries, and a "condiment" sized cup of coleslaw. The uploaded picture is the actual meal as served. Now the batter on the fish was honestly so salty, it tasted like someone had dumped salt in the batter instead of flour. It almost made me gag. I had to pick all the batter off of the fish just to eat it and it was still horribly salty. How could nobody in the kitchen catch this? I have never sent food back to a kitchen, but I honestly thought about it. Secondly, Fries cost nearly nothing to make a happy customer. So when you put a ton of fries on a plate, it costs pennies to make the customer go, "WOW, that is huge". When you put a tiny amount, the customer goes "There is hardly any food". A word to the kitchen, load up on the fries if your going to be cheap on the rest of the food. I paid way too much and left hungry. Not a good combination if you want repeat customers. The service has always been good and the only reason they received as many stars as they did."
"If you're nearly at the border (or just crossing over) and you're craving some great steak and a very homey atmosphere, the Old Montana Bar is the place to visit. It's nestled in a very small town just off of the I-90 and if they had saloon doors that swung about freely, you'd be hard-pressed not to imagine yourself in an old western. Friendly and accommodating staff, a nice and laid-back atmosphere, and a handful of casino games if you're into that sort of thing. However, if we're talking about steaks, these folks serve up some pretty mean dishes such as the Wagyu Sirloin that I sampled as I passed through town! A nice, tender and juicy steak surrounded by the vegetables of the day and your choice of side (can't go wrong with Jo-Jos), as well as a soup or salad to start. The portion was great for the price and quality of meat, and I wouldn't doubt that any of the other delicious choices would be any different."
