"I actually had a great massage from Ashli (and liked her as a person) so I recommended her to my mom who went there too. I'm embarrassed to say my mom had over $200 taken from her account like over a year later from the service at this business. The bank notified her of a potential fraud alert. When my mom asked Ashli to return the funds, there has been excuse after excuse on why the funds are not returned. I had to take a look at the text exchange myself because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She didn't immediately apologize actually (I would be SO EMBARASSED if this was my business because it looks pretty strange) and two she's now catching an attitude because my mom isn't believing the reasons funds aren't in her account yet. It's been 16 days and she still doesn't have the funds. She did offer a free massage but there's no interest for that - she just wants her money back without having to ask for all kinds of updates. I would be very hesitant to pay with a card here -protect yourself! ** Please note they modified their response below - I'm putting the original response below. I think it speaks volumes. Unfortunately we don't believe it was an error anymore. She has promised funds multiple times (8-10 days from the first contact -maybe 72 hours, several different days after that, suggested venmo then said she needs more time to make a venmo account??). This seems very predatory. My mom's bank is arguing the funds - I have recommended her to make a report with BBB to investigate what's really going on. Second, my mom was the one to first notify of the fraud not the other way around. ORIGINAL RESPONSE FROM OWNER: Wow we are working on returning these funds as we have explained this occurred due to a mismatch in our financial data being transferred to our new booking portal API as we had explained to Ms Gilchrist. We then had a funeral within the family of company management which we also let Ms Gilchrist know and that her funds would be returned today. To write a one star review on us due to something that was beyond our immediate control and an honest technological error within our booking and accounts system is completely unfair to us and totally vindictive especially when we have been incredibly proactive and in communication with the client as early as one hour ago to let her know this would be resolved today. To speak negatively about a company doing their very best to serve this community on these grounds is really hurtful. Had we ignored the situation. I can understand your doing so but this was not the case. I hope this makes you feel better."
