"I know what your thinking... Good Mexican food dang near the Canadian border? Yes. This is good food! Downtown Bonners Ferry, so parking is free, but you might have to walk a block. Open 7 days a week after 11:00am, makes it a great option for lunch and dinner. Staff is very friendly and treat everyone like everyone that comes in is a local."

"Based on the most important rating point for restaurants (food quality) alone - Mi Pueblo would be a 5. The food here is *very* good Mexican. That said - where they fall short is the staff... I wouldn't call them rude - but far from welcoming. They seemed more interested in joking with each other and commiserating than attending to the customers. I wouldn't avoid this restaurant - I would simply go there with the knowledge that the help may be less helpful than you're accustomed to."

"Love the updates to the decor! Very authentic Mexico. Food is also very good. Huge portions and a nice variety on the menu. A very good selection of Mexican beer and other beverages. If you like Mexican food and are going through Bonners, be sure to make a point to stop in for a meal."

"I am super picky with Mexican food and this place was honestly really good. Their rice and beans were awesome. We had fajitas and they came out steaming and we're just lovely and so good. I would say they could use some fresher chips. The service wasn't very friendly. Wasn't horrible but just no real smiles or interaction. We also had to move our plates to the edge of the table and they were sitting there for a while and we had very little room. This definitely isn't a fancy place but hey it's Bonners ferry. I really enjoyed the fajitas and I had a virgin pina colada that was good as well. Prices are average and not too expensive. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area."
