"Took our dog to Golden Paws when owned by the previous owner (Cheryl). We loved the service she provided. Unfortunately, the new owner operates differently. Never a smile and a rude disposition but that didn't keep us from giving her a chance to earn our business. The last appointment was unbelievable to say the least. I arrived 10 minutes earlier than my appointment and the shop was closed. I sat in my car for 20 minutes thinking there was an unpreventable mishap causing the staff to be late. I left after waiting as no one showed up. My wife called them the next day......no apology and no justification for not being there. Just oddly indifferent as if our business has no value to them. We are trying an alternative tomorrow. I feel bad because I like being loyal to small business folk. Nonetheless, this behavior was unacceptable. My advice to Golden Paws----put your customers first, serve them, do good work and you will soar. Oh and take the "decorative skulls" out of your reception area. Skulls are not a customer friendly look. Good luck."
"I found out about Golden Paws on Facebook and the owner Tonya was so sweet and accommodating. Duke is a very shy dog with high anxiety and the staff took great care of him during his grooming appointment. I could tell that he felt pampered and he smells and looks amazing now (they even put on a fall scarf on him). Your dog will be in good hands here."
