"I would give zero if I could. My sweet boy Dax, an 185-pound great dane, passed yesterday around 3pm. I called the vets office. They didn't have room for him and instructed me to call "Kevin" at "Friends of the Family." After having some time with my kids and getting over the initial shock of finding him, I called twice and left a message at 320pm and 340pm. I received no return phone call, so I called the vet's office and was told that Kevin was aware that I was coming. They were also aware that I was working on getting people to help me transport him to my car. After lots of phone calls for this and phone tag with the vets office, I was able to finally leave the house in time to get there about 5 min or so before they closed. NO-ONE was there! You would think that if this Kevin was aware I was coming, he would have reached out to me before leaving. This is so very uncompassionate, and it made a very heartbreaking time even worse. After driving about 30 min to get there, I had to start at square one with my boy in the back of my SUV. I returned the call to the vets office and was told they could put him in a "cage or run" until this place was able to get him tomorrow. No thanks. I did a bit of Googling and found a lovely place in Nixa that was willing to stay late, even though they had already cleaned up for the day. This is how you treat a person grieving the loss of a beloved pet. Dax was the sweetest boy with a heart as big as he was. You people could have stood to learn a thing or two from him."
"I had my bull mastiff for 17years. He was family, my big fur baby. They were so nice, caring and professional. Which brought me peace and comfort knowing they was taking care of him for us. I dropped him off on a Friday and we had him back home with us on Tuesday. They made me happy, being to caring and timely getting my big fur baby back home to us. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, loving company to take care of their fur baby. Absolutely m done an amazing job."
"My Mom's cat, Foxy, passed away. My sister referred me to this place, so I took her here to have her cremated. Colby was very friendly and helpful, and very kind to my Mom. He even took time to listen to her cat stories. Thanks FOF. You guys are great."
"If I could give them 10 stars I would. They were super sweet and sympathetic. Never called her it or her ashes as if she was just an object and not our pet. The box is beautiful and has a very sweet message attached to it. When they called to say she was ready they said "she is ready to come home". That meant the world to me."
