"Wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone navigators are terrible never able to help you and they overcharge constantly very sneaky about their money. Found out they were charging me about $500 extra each semester and I’ve been going there for almost 3 years. They stole almost 2500 from me. Would recommend you go anywhere else and save your money and time. This college only cares about your money"
"Charged me for half the semester after I attended 3 days of classes and decided the program wasn't for me. Didn't realize I missed their arbitrary deadline by a few hours when I withdrew. So now they want $2000. I wouldn't have even applied if I hadn't had a Pell grant but I withdrew because I didn't want to waste federal funds. But they still want their money even though I can't afford it. Pretty unfair and I will go to court before I pay them a dime, except they already stole my Missouri tax refund. That's the only way they will get anything without a fight. Better make sure you know what you are getting into before you enroll. I've never had this problem at any other school but they ignored my appeal. They don't care if you aren't financially able to pay without the grant. Update: This isn't a trivial complaint. The fact that the account has gone to collections appears on my credit report and affects my rating adversely. But I refuse to submit to their tactics. I just want prospective students to understand the financial policies of the college are not sensitive to your ability to pay or the fair acknowledgement of the situation involved. It's all about raking in money. If I had not dropped before the grant was awarded I would not owe them. Only the taxpayers would be out. I'd give this institution a zero if I could."
"I took my class back in 2016, and honestly it was really nice. Great instructor, and campus was easy to navigate. I did have to pay out of pocket because they don’t accept financial aid for non-degree seeking students, but getting and extra class out of the way felt worth it at the time, despite the financial burden. Here I am applying for my masters program and tried to log into my student portal to send over official transcripts of the one class. There was no record of me attending classes at all. After reaching out for assistance, I found out they disabled my student login portal after becoming an inactive student, and am unable to send my transcripts for the one class I took back in 2016. According to help desk support, only way to enable my account would be to register again and set up a payment plan for classes? Thankfully they let me know there’s another way to get my transcripts sent, and that would be by contacting the student services office that is closed an entire week for New Years. I was told I could try emailing them just in case someone checked the email until then, but likely I wouldn’t hear back until January 4th. If you plan on just talking a couple summer classes, please keep it in mind that you’ll have to deal with this inconvenience one day."
"I'm a returning student, and I had to drop out for various reasons that I won't get into. But the support staff have been amazing and helpful and have aided me every step of the way to get on track. I truly believe that there are people here who only want to see the students succeed and will do whatever they can to make sure that happens. Of course you'll always get some bad with the good but I have received no judgment, and there are programs and tutoring offered for those who are having a rough time. I can't wait to start again in the fall."
