"Cereal box dr that goes room to room guessing…I started seeing Dr.Mayer about 4 months ago for an itchy folliculitis type rash. She recommended accutane for it. I asked her several times if it would really help with the itching sense it’s an expensive treatment. She told me yes several times. About 2 months in I bring up that the itch is still very persistent. She then tells me very unprofessionally that I’ve never talked to her about my itching and that it’s just accutane causing it. that’s the whole reason for me needing a derm and starting treatment in the first place. The most recent appointment I showed her photos of where I would break out in what looks like hives from the topical cream she prescribed. She took one look and chalked it up to sun exposure. How I’ve gotten sun on my legs in the middle of this winter who knows but I’ll take the loss and start treatment somewhere else before I give this place another dime."
