"absolutely fabulous company! 10/10 would recommend!"
"Willis is exceptional, well read and knows the tax code. I have been using Willis for over 10 years now and can't imagine the painful thought of trying to find a qualified and upfront CPA like Willis in Virginia where my wife and I live now. As long as Willis is willing we will use his services. Thanks Willis for being honest and available!"
"My wife and I decided to have our taxes done here since we bought a house because we wanted to make sure our return did not get messed up. I sit down with them, go over our paperwork, and they quote me around $175 (for their high end estimate). I decide to let them do our work. Two weeks later, I go to pick my stuff back up and the problems started here. They would not even file my return. They made me do that part. They only prepared it. They said all the paperwork was there, I just need to mail it. The bill was attached also, the bill for $325. I could have swore they told me something else, so I go home and look what I had written down (because they would not give me the estimate in writing, should have been a big red flag right there) and see they nearly doubled what they said it would be. Not to mention, they didn't even have all the necessary paperwork completed to file my return. They did however tell me to pay them "whenever I felt like it." I decided to wait until my return was accepted before I gave them anything. I was accepted a week or two ago so I made plans to go discuss the billing issue with them. I was met by the most stand-offish person I have ever met in my life. You would think I showed up to give him a colon exam. He was extremely rude and would not even let me tell my story of how I was ripped off. His secretary went through all the paperwork with me BEFORE I apgreed to file with them. They have fixed costs for each form. Therefore, I should be able to get a pretty accurate estimate. There is no reason it should have doubled. He sat with his arms crossed and kept interupting me. My wife asked why he would not even listen to us and he blew up at her and said that she has no right to ask him that. I am sorry, but we do have that right. You are trying to rip us off and I am not just going to roll over and let it happen. He then began swearing at us. I am usually a very calm person but I was starting to become extremely disgusted with this individual. He even demanded I give him my commanding officer's name and phone number so he can talk to him. You see, I am in the guard. One weekend a month, 2 weeks a year. The only thing the military even had to do with this is the fact about $4000 of income was on a W2 that was filed with my taxes. He is not in the military, nor does he cater to the military. I was not in uniform and never even mentioned the military. The audacity he had to actually try to involve the freaking military in this is beyond all reasoning. That is when I lost it and blew up at him. I told him this has nothing to do with the military, he is crazy for even THINKING I would give him that information, I am here as a civilian, and he needs to check himself. This is when we decide to just pay them and leave. There is no reasoning with this person at all. My wife starts writing them a check. He tells us if we give him a check he is just going to rip it up and then file paperwork with the IRS telling them we gave him phony information and that we will basically owe back all of our return. I am smart enough to know this basically cannot happen for a multitude of reasons. Nonetheless, the fact that he threatened us with blatant acts of fraud about made me start flipping desks. We gave him a check, he tore it up, we said we are contacting our attorney and walked out the door. Our attorney says this guy is crazy and doesn't have a leg to stand on. We also filed complaints with the attorney general's office for the state of Kansas. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING DEFRAUDED."
