"I was impressed with Dr. Ibrahim Abdulla and his staff at Hulston Cancer Center. I recently completed 7 weeks of IMRT for laryngeal cancer and then SMRT treatment for a suspect lung nodule. Given my individual circumstances, I was fortunate to opt for radiation only without chemotherapy. You will find Dr. Abdulla is an exceptional radiation oncologist. He is easy to talk to and will advise you on any of your specific needs or concerns. He is straightforward with answering your questions and what to expect with a treatment strategy that works best for you. Dr. Abdulla’s nurse and radiation therapists were wonderful too. In fact, I found the entire staff involved in my care were friendly, helpful, and receptive to every aspect of my medical care. During my treatment the team expressed sincere concern and nearly everyone went out of their way for me in some manner. Appointment times were prompt, and there is also a dietitian and navigator ready to help you anyway they can. My individual medical treatment was stressful as any cancer intervention strategy can be, but the entire team provided the best medical care I could ever have imagined.
