"If you'd like to make an appointment and have a tax professional to actually show up for the appointment DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AT THIS LOCATION. Last year I did not have problems with this location, however, this year is another story. The only option to book an appointment is online. So I booked online. For 11 am today, 3/15/24 at the K7 Walmart location. I showed up at 10:55. Last year the little Jackson Hewitt office was in a small alcove that was private and away from the store itself. This year, there is a table and 2 chairs with a tent located right in front of the self check out registers. Talk about unprofessional. So anyway, I show up at 10:55. Their POSTED HOURS say open 11 AM - 6 PM on Friday, the day in question. I had received FOUR verification emails leading up to this appointment with the date and time so I knew I was correct. At 11:10 I start looking around for a phone number. No number anywhere on their posted signs. I Google from my phone and find a number that has the Walmart address associated with it. So I call it - expecting the phone on the desk to ring. It doesn't and I'm soon connected with a super unprofessional staff member who answers the phone. I explain my problem. It takes forever for him to help me because they just opened at 11 and his computer needs to boot up. It's 11:15 at this point. Like really? Most professional jobs a person is expected to show up to work before their first appointment. Once he can get my info into his system, he explains that the tax "professional" will be there at 3 PM. EXCUSE ME!?! Why on EARTH was I allowed to make an appointment online for 11 AM in no one is there until 3 PM??? The person on the phone says that's because I booked online through "corporate". Ummm ok. That makes no sense - each office should be allowed to book their own hours. I explain to this person my complete frustration at this point. He then says they are short staffed. SO!?! SO IS EVERYONE! THAT DOES NOT EXPLAIN WHY I COULD BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN HOUR NO ONE IS THERE. I was so frustrated that I told the person I was going somewhere else and he shouted at me "GOOD!!" and hung up on me. That's some real "professionalism" right there. Wow. I went to H&R Block right down the street and they were over $200 cheaper anyway, so it definitely worked out for me in the end."

"Really bad service, I got an appointment by 5.30pm, I been there by 5 pm waiting until 6pm and nobody showed up , I was really upset trying to call them and be in contact to get a reason why they give appointments and don't show up but nobody answered the phone , sadly there's no 0 star to give it to them . I advice you to never do your taxes with them . They're not right"
