"My spouse and I used Lacey Wallace's services years ago, when Lacey was with another organization. Christian marriage counseling -- if you're going to call it that -- should incorporate Christianity and be good counsel. After months-going-on-years of sessions with Ms. Wallace, I can say this about her approach: it was usually neither. She rarely mentioned faith; indeed, she seemed to oppose or dismiss some Biblical principles about marriage. Lacey's therapy sessions, for all her good intentions, can be scattershot, situational, and lacking in real insight. Our marriage suffered as we flailed around with her, addressing whatever seemed to be the argument du jour, rarely getting to heart issues. We wound up in a far worse place than when we began. There are a lot of positive reviews on this page. I’ll assume those reviews are sincere, and not just active clients responding to Lacey’s solicitation, in a way that she can check. (After all, they're posting under their real names.) If so, then I’m glad so many people have benefitted from Lacey's work. But, for my part, I would urge caution."
