"I chose FRS out of 2 other competitors because I felt the initial inspector visit with Daryn went the best of the 3. More measurements were taken, he was more understanding of my concerns, and put together a plan that I felt was better overall for my home. The inspection was in early November, my project was written for 16 push piers and 1 helical pier to start at the end of January. After I signed the contract is when things deteriorated. FRS offers price matching, so I sent a comparable quote to the inspector and he quickly confirmed via telephone that it had been approved. Despite several attempts to get the updated project pricing in writing, I didn't receive this until the day the project was set to start. On install day during the walkthrough with the foreman Brandon, I was informed that the original plan had been engineered and that they would have to place piers where my stamped concrete patio sits. This was one of the original selling points that the inspector had given, that they could work around the patio and still provide stabilization. While I understand that engineering is a requirement to be within code, finding this information out on the day of install was frustrating. As work progressed, I was notified that due to the footing depth they would not be able to install push piers and would have to switch to helical. Again, I feel like this could've been something that was assessed earlier than when work had begun. Because the helical piers required a larger machine, they had to disassemble one side of my fence to get the equipment into my backyard. On one side of my house where my fireplace sits, the project had a total of 4 piers to be installed. Upon digging they discovered a gas line running about a foot from the foundation, so those piers were unable to be installed. I was informed that a "change order" would be put in to adjust the project to remove these piers. When primary work was completed on 1/25, the foreman advised they would come back out to finish clean up, fill the concrete, and reassemble the fence and that the office would call out to schedule the follow up. That did not happen until I posted this review (see update below). On Jan 30th, my loan account was charged for the full remaining balance, not including the adjustment for the 4 less piers, and without the job even being completed. I understand large construction type projects will have bumps along the way, there is no company that can plan for all potential curveballs. Between the change in pier type, the piers placed in my patio, and the 4 uninstalled piers, the final job only resembled the signed estimate by a small percentage. Additionally, the consistent billing failures have been frustrating. The work that was completed was done professionally so I don't fault the install crew. **Resolution update - Shortly after posting my review, management reached out to address my concerns. The accounting has been corrected and I was scheduled on 2/22 to have the remaining work done. Once again they failed to keep their appointment and provided no communication. I was called by a manager on 2/23 asking how the job went the previous day seemingly unknowing that it had not been completed. Later that day I was contacted by a different manager, who took responsibility for the failure, and they said they would be out on 2/26 to complete the work. On 2/26 they arrived at 11:30 however did not bring the necessary equipment to complete the job. They left again and arrived back at my home around 1:15. The soil around the house was leveled and the manager on site advised me that they would be back on 2/27 to finish concrete work and wrap everything up. They arrived, finished the concrete, cleaned up with a power washer, and reassembled the fence. The project is finally complete with photos attached. I upped my review from a 1 star because of the effort, albeit flawed, to resolve the issue. However, given the multitude of process failures, I can't in good conscience give more than 2 stars. I truly hope my experience was a one-off."
"Once again FRS did an outstanding job. They came back to do another project, this one was to address the water drainage which caused the garage to slowly drift away from the house. West and Hunter worked diligently to install the new drainage system. I got to hand it to FRS, they know what they are doing. Many thanks again."
"Foundation Recover systems had the most reasonable price, for the best work. Corey came out to the house for the estimate and was thorough. He explained the issues that he found, and all the solutions that were best, for my situation. He was about to come up with solutions, where I didn’t have to move plumbing, or remove my whole deck. Corey came out the night before and removed planks from my deck (for access purposes.) The project took a total of 3 days for multiple piers and brackets. The construction grew was efficient and knew what they were doing.Corey came back out after the project and replaced the decking. He went above and beyond for me. I know he will do the same for you."
"We are very pleased with installation of the water recovery system and the braces to move the wall back. Terrance and Alec were amazing young men! Very hard working, polite and even cleaned up all the plastic drop cloths we hung up. Definitely would recommend Foundation Recovery Systems!"
"Jessee and KD communicated with me to let me know when they would arrive to do the work. They were here on time, explained to me clearly what work would be performed and how long it would take. They did exactly what they told me. They were very polite, very careful to protect my existing sidewalk and adjacent flower beds. When they were done they cleaned up. I am very pleased with the project!!!"
