"Called and made appt for washer repair. Was given a 9am to noon time frame for service to be done. I took time from work to be available. No one called or showed up so I called them at 130pm and they said they had called (lie) and said someone left me a message (lie) about being short a repair person and that they were unable to reschedule due to not having someone to make repair. Very unprofessional. I would have been fine with a cancelation notice but they blatantly lied and made no verified attempt to contact me."

"Set up appointment for 4-7 they charge a 95$ fee before they even show up, they called at 3 to cancel my appointment said the tech had an emergency. No problem at, except they have not refunded my 95 dollars and did not attempt to even reschedule the appointment I made seemed very unprofessional. Even on the phone they acted like they didn’t want or need my business it’s sad I try and stay local and in town and get treated like that refund my money"

"I called to make an appointment to have my oven repaired. I have never used this company before and it seemed to have good reviews. However you must give your credit card number in order to hold an appointment, I objected because I had no prior dealings with them I do not like just giving my credit card number willy nilly over the phone. IF I did not use my credit card then I would need to deal in cash or check which made the appointment $75.00 instead of 59.99. When I called back to cancel my appointment the lady told me to stop calling and wasting their time. As a result, I'm on this site to say they are rude just because I did not want to give my credit card number to"hold" a service time"

"These people were listed as Smithville Appliance repair, my hometown. When I called at 11:30 Friday morning I discovered they were not a local business but they said they could have someone here the next day (Saturday) between 8 and 11am to work on my Kenmore ice maker. At 7pm (Friday evening) they called and said they would have to cancel because they had no one in the area qualified to work on a Kenmore refrigerator. Really?? Took them 8 hours to figure this out when I had most of Friday to contact someone else. Also, their address listed is actually the address for Pizza Hut. Smithville Appliance Repair is not listed with the Better Business Bureau."

"I called this company two days ago to fix my dryer. The earliest opening they had open was for tonight. They said they'd call me a half-hour before coming over to confirm the appointment. I waited until almost 8 p.m. and no-one called, so I called them. They said they'd cancelled my appointment because they were too busy to come out here. They said they'd called me yesterday to tell me this, but they didn't. First off, if you're too busy to do your job, don't make appointments and take people's credit card information and tell them you're going to show up at their house. Second off, don't lie to me and tell me you called me when you didn't. I just called A.B. May and they'll be out here tomorrow. And I know they'll be out here because they're a professional business, unlike these people. Every time I try to support local Smithville businesses I get screwed. I'm about done with this town."
