"Moved to KC in October and I’m so happy to have found the Brazil Academy. They have a variety of classes every day, including early morning classes which fit my schedule the best. All of the instructors are knowledgeable, with most of the classes being taught by a black belt with multiple black belts in the room. They also have a large competition team that travels all over the world. I feel lucky to have found this gym and would recommend to anyone wanting to get in better shape, wanting to compete, or wanting to be able to defend yourself should the need arise."

"My family and I LOVE Brazil Academy. My son and I take Capoeira there while my husband does BJJ. They also have Muay Thai and a really good cafe. The professors and mestres are all very knowledgeable. All of the staff members are awesome. One of my favorite parts is the family/community atmosphere. Everyone there is extremely supportive. The kids have a blast with capoeira there. They learn a lot while having fun. I can't speak for the kids' BJJ, but the kids I do hear talking about it seem to enjoy it. The adult capoeira classes are fantastic. Please don't think you need to be in awesome shape or need to be able to cartwheel to start. I started a bit over a month ago and im in my 40's. I'm a little overweight and can't do a cartwheel to save my life. But I'm getting there and this is the best exercise I have ever had in my life! Come join the party! You won't be disappointed!"

"My wife son and I recently joined Brazil Acadamy. My wife and son taking Capoiera and my self BJJ. I absolutely love this place. The training is hard but super rewarding. All the instructors are very experienced and skilled and very helpful. Best of all they treat you like family.
