"Sadly I’ve had a similar experience to others here. My therapist was not the primary issue, but rather the scheduling and billing team. I stopped seeking care in October and was recently charged $20 copay almost 2 months after my last session. When I reached out for clarification they shared that my card had previously been declined (which I’m not sure is true - it’s always had sufficient funds and the recent charges went through without me providing any additional details). I offered them the feedback that that they should reach out proactively to clients to let them know when they’ll be billing. I’m fortunate that these charges do not “break the bank”, but that’s not the case for everyone. A little bit of customer experience foresight would go a long way here."
"I can't say enough good things about Enso. I've been seeing Haylie for a little over a year now, and I'm so very grateful for her expertise with trauma. With her help, I've been able to heal and grow in areas I didn't think possible. She has walked with me through some of the most difficult experiences and memories of my life, and she always provides a balanced, compassionate perspective. She is one of the few people with whom I feel comfortable being myself. Also, the front office staff is amazing. They always reply to my emails so quickly, and are excellent with scheduling and billing issues. I had a couple of visits that weren't covered due to a lapse in my insurance coverage, but they worked with me on a payment plan. Like I said - can't say enough good things! Oh, and the office is beautiful, too!"
"My comments are in relation to their billing practices and not the therapy itself. I found a good therapist here, but I will not return. The office would not schedule me for additional visits because I did not give them unrestricted access to my credit card. I'm not unreasonable. I would have allowed them to keep my credit card on file had they agreed to give me notice before charging my card. But they would not agree to that. I felt hostility from their office after the interaction, so I asked that the therapist reach out to me directly. I was told my message was passed along. When I did not hear back, I followed up and asked if she was willing to speak with me directly. The answer I got was that my message was passed along. They shared two offices where I could seek alternative care. But I requested to speak with her directly about alternative care. To clarify, I asked if she was unwilling to speak with me. Which is her right. But the response I received was, "I've passed on your message to her." No, yes or no. It was very evasive. When I pressed again, the response in part was that "I don't have an answer to your question." What would think if you asked to speak with your doctor or their nurse directly and no one ever got back to you? And then if you followed up they sent you another doctor's contact information as well. And then when you asked if your doctor didn't want to speak with you, their office manager said, "I don't have an answer for your question." I'm not telling anyone not to go here. We are all adults with free will. I'm just sharing my experience. And if you choose to go here, you will be an informed consumer. If my comments are in dispute, I am more than happy to share the e-mail correspondence. Life can be difficult. Being reasonable and kind never hurts anyone. I've never experienced such hostility in seeking health care. People are really hurting and this is not the way to treat them. _________ In response to their response: You cannot understand I wanted an immediate response, because I didn't. I waited nearly two days after my appointment before I touched base about the follow-up. Your office mentioned that it wasn't a good fit, and I agree. I disagree with your other statements as well, but I've already spent enough time on this subject. I moved on. Anyone reviewing this information can make a determination for themselves what is true and what is not. Distorting thoughts and intentions of patients online is not a good look."
"Couldn't agree more with Rachel's review and have a similar experience. I was seeing a therapist I truly liked toward the beginning of the year and to this day (it is now 10/19/23) have I ever received any sort of bill or statement. In April, I received an email letting me know my appointment was canceled as I had an outstanding balance-again, I have still never received any sort of documentation. They let me know they never send statements unless there is a balance owed..well in my case I had one owed so where is the statement? Like Rachel, they wanted full unrestricted access to my debit card which I was not comfortable with. We agreed on a payment plan and 2 payments were made, April & May. Then, I never was charged until September and then today, 10/19. I sent an email asking what was going on with my account to which I received the reply that "on numerous occasions when we have attempted to charge your card per that agreement, the card has been declined". They have never let me know until today that the payment had declined and if it had declined, why haven't I had other issues when using it? That has been 5 months! I have never not had enough in my account to cover the agreed upon amount. I have advised them now to turn it over to collections because at this point, it'd be better to work with the collections agency than Enso. Ya know, its hard enough as it is to find a therapist in general, and then to experience this kind of "customer service" is really disheartening."
