"I was referred to Burkett Residential LLC from an old coworker and friend who had nothing but wonderful things to say about Jacob and his team. We needed to replace our deck, and even though we were outside Lawrence, Jacob was willing to come out to South KC for the job. In our initial meeting, Jacob walked us through the entire process, provided options and guided us through decisions. We opted to do the demo ourselves, but Jacob and his team helped clean up a last few things we were unable to take care of. In addition to the direct referral, my wife and I had seen all the work on Burkett Residential's social media pages, so we knew the work was going to be high quality. When Jacob and Brian arrived on site for the project, they got to work right away and continued to communicate each step of the process. We were consistently in the loop with Jacob, which kept us at ease. Jacob and Brian (and Sterling on the final day) worked through some unfortunate conditions, as KC was experiencing temps in the 90s, but Jacob made sure he and his crew were getting the job done while also taking care of themselves. Aside from the high quality work, Jacob also was flexible and willing to cater to our needs. We asked for a gate, and when the initial design didn't match our expectations, he adjusted and gave us the deck we wanted. He always focused on giving us the best deck for us! Even with the hot weather, Jacob and co. finished a day ahead of schedule, which allowed us (and our dogs) to enjoy the deck sooner than expected! For the quality of the work, and the level of service, it feels like a bit of steal at the price. Nothing but positives for Jacob and the entire Burkett Residential team!"
