"Very very rude employee will never return. Also makes female customers very uncomfortable with his behavior and staring habits"
"I bought a Morgan Dollar from there today and they had about 30 of them, prices seemed off because there was A key date Morgan in case worth a small fortune and they had marked as 30 dollars, I told him it felt funny and started doing some basic coin Tests to see if it was real, guy working kinda got snotty about it, So I purchased it knowing it was fake and go straight home and weigh it and sure enough it weighed 22 grams meaning it was a fake Morgan, real ones weigh 26.6ish and lose a little with wear and tear but never that much ever, took it back and told him and he didn't care at all and actually locked door on me and said he was on his lunch break lol. Stay away, fake stuff and very poor attitude, very illegal."
"I've been using this pawn shop for the past 5 or years. The owner and both his employees are knowledgeable and fair when giving you a offer on a item. Both the owner and his main 9 to 5 Monday thru friday employee are honest and straight to the point. Apparently some people confuse that with being rude or mean. If you bring something in that they can make money off of they dont want it. If you think you have something that is worth something and it doesn't turn out that way you can be mad at them for not buying it. Or expect them to be like "I'm sorry sir, it turns out it's not worth as much as you thought, better luck next. Please come again" you're are stupid. If you ever need a honest pawn shop this the one. If you are expecting the customer is always right type of place stay home."
"Poor customer service skills. One of the employees, not the owner, got very rude with my friend, only because she attempted to negotiate on a price by explaining what the item sells for on-line and at retail stores. He apparently was having a bad day, as he explained to her in an attempt to defend his rude behavior. As someone in a client service profession, I am keenly aware that personal problems and poor attitudes need to be set aside when you are dealing with clients, or customers. There are very few, if any, excuses that can justify being aggressive or rude with an unassuming customer. Moreover, apologies do not make the behavior acceptable."
"Been in there twice lately to Buy. Got good deals both times. And I did pawn a Generator there some time back once too.. But recently I was there a while, and saw some of the people coming in trying to pawn stuff not worth a lot and thinking they had "gold".. it was funny. People, Pawn shops loan on stuff with resale value.... Just because YOU think it's valuable doesn't mean the general public will, and that's who they have to sell it to if you don't come back! Don't hate on pawn dealers, because they don't want to get stuck with something they can't easily recoup their loan money on. It's a Business.. not your rich uncle! And I've seen this occur in several shops, not just this one. Now as to "rude"? The guy I dealt with named Mike.. is a hoot to talk to! I can see where a person who gets turned down for a loan thinks that's rude.. but it's just business."
