Dollar General

"So under staffed!!!! Shelves are bare most of the time. So tired of being overcharged! Also, certain staff members don't seem to know how to do their job. This place is a mess! I know the manager is doing the best she can, what is going on corporate??? I've complained to corporate but still have yet to receive a phone call or compensation for my issue. They don't care about anything but taking every last dollar they can get out of their customers, including by advertising sales that they have no product for!"

"This is a newer store and it has a lot of variety. The store is always clean and organized. Never had a problem while shopping here. The staff are helpful if you have a question, and today I noticed they now have a self checkout option which is nice if you want to use that option. If not they still had an employee willing to check out your items for you. Great store for every little town to have."

"I really appreciate the dollar general stores. The one here in Monroe city is nicely stocked and clean. Most employees are very nice except for 1. She was very rude and over stepped the boundaries."

"Very helpful service, raccoons stole our Hershey’s chocolate so when I saw dollar general was out of stock too I thought they must have stolen all the Hershey’s from there too! But the manager assured me they still had some in stock and didn’t stop looking until he found them!"

"This is a new location. It's still clean and fairly well organized. The people I encountered were nice enough. Parking lot was plentiful and it has both a front and back entrance to the parking lot. Over all, it's just your typical dollar store which isn't all that impressive. The tools, toys, cookware, silverware and other items are junk but then again, if you were looking for quality, you wouldn't be at a dollar store would you? The food is decent at a decent price so that's not bad at least. I shop here occasionally and will continue to do so when needed."
