"I’ve been a patient of his for 3 years now and never once have I felt misled or mistreated by him or his team on my health journey. Dr Ballmann is patient, kind, and compassionate. He listens to all of my concerns and addresses each one in a way I can understand. He doesn’t rush me in and out, he actually takes his time to formulate a plan of action. I know most people see obgyns for women’s annual wellness or when they’re having a baby, but in my case I have issues with my reproductive system. When I first learned about these issues I was nervous that he wasn’t going to be able to treat me since I had only seen him for annuals before. To my surprise he was able to not only help and treat, but also perform a surgery that greatly helped with the pain I was experiencing at the time. I would recommend Ballmann and his nurse, Ashton, to anyone! And that’s the ONLY Cox provider I can say that about confidently."

"This is not so much about the doctor as it is their billing department. They made me pay half of my out of pocket estimate, $1144.04 before my surgery. Now that my insurance and HRA account have paid everything in full and I'm due a refund of what they made me pay, they're holding my money in an "account" and won't refund it (absolutely no information on this account, even their billing representative doesn't understand it). THEN they billed my insurance again for the SAME PROCEDURE... and are saying I owe them another $1072.98. This is after my insurance company called and verified they agree they owe me a full refund of the out of pocket portion and it would be issued to me within 30-45 days. This has to be the worst billing department I've ever worked with... they are intentionally keeping my money for NO reason. Even after leaving 2 messages, they refuse to return my phone call. I'll be finding a new doctor for sure, and looking into options to get my money and the interest I'm having to pay on it refunded."

"Very little empathy, very poor bedside manner. Treated my baby and I like a medical case rather than human beings. My baby ended up being stillborn, even though I had called begging to come in and have her checked when I had reduced movement, I was told I’m a first time mom and didn’t know her movements. When he came into the room after we found she had passed his words were ‘I did not see this coming, but yeah you lost the baby, that’s sad.’ No ‘I’m sorry for your loss’ a single time. His words and reaction to me have haunted me and made an unimaginably painful experience, worse. Thank the Heaven’s he did not deliver my baby and that there were kind nurses in the delivery room. There are many more comments I will not mention on a public forum but I refused to go back and see him for my 6 week PP appointment because I was treated so poorly and unkindly. I moved offices and doctors instead. I would not recommend him to any woman. He has a lot to learn, especially about empathy and kindness."
