"My Husband and I were looking for another cleaners in South City. I had used Orpheum, but after new owner took over, was not satisfied with repairs that were made on my Husband's suit pants. Even though previoys owner Ms Laurie was pricey, she could repair and it looked like new! Then we tried Reeds on the corner of Chippewa and Gustine, they have since changed the name. I was waiting to be serviced. While the clerk was taking in another customers cloths he took off his shoe and started to beat on the counter. To my surprise, I could not imagine what he was doing. I said, what is wrong? He said bugs were in the cloths. My reply was, please don't place my cloths with that Lady's. He said, all go in the same bin. I immediately took my cloths and left! Never went back. I'm happy that I have found J's cleaners! It is clean, they are friendly and reasonably priced! I take pride in my clothing and they gave me the impression, that they do the same. "Needing a professional dry cleaner for new sport jackets and alterations to several pairs of slacks I was willing to travel outside the immediate area where I now live to get good quality and a fair price. J'S Cleaners was recommended by a friend who has experienced some of the same problems i have using neighborhood businesses. My expectations are pretty basic, be professional, don't over sell and do what you say you'll do for the price paid. The result here was satisfying to say the least, polite and friendly proprietor, coats impeccably laundered and pressed and tailor quality alterations all done in a reasonable time frame at a price below market compared to the Central West End. Sometimes you do a little more to get a better return and with J's the effort pays for itself. I highly recommend."

"Very quick turn around, excellent work. I’ve had dry cleaning, laundry and alterations. He was able to alter and or fix trousers not meant to be altered. Understands all fabrics and how they will respond to different chemicals. Lastly, extremely reasonably priced. I cannot recommend J’s Cleaners highly enough."
