"I have the pleasure of having Recy Moore as my advisor for the last 2 semesters and she has worked with me with no end to make sure that I had classes that I wanted and needed to work towards my major. Which I had to change due to health issues but even with those, Jonathan and Recy especially have been a rock for me with these other distractions I've had to keep me going in school. Without the Adult Student Service I think we all would be lost without them to be our guiding light or beacon to a better education which will in turn bring a better way of life. Thank You for all you do!!"
"Recy Moore is the most patient and kind person that I have met. She helped me through the whole process of getting registered, finding classes and signing up. I am computer illiterate so this was quite a task for her! Even after classes started, if I was confused about any of MSU's website content I could call her and she was so very kind and helpful. If she did not know something she would find out and get back to me asap! Recy also helped my daughter transfer in from OTC. My daughter is autistic and she went out of her way to make everything easy as possible to understand. Recy goes above and beyond her job duties! A true treasure and asset for Adult Student Services!"
"Jaime Ross went above and beyond what I expected from an academic advisor. I could not be happier with her service and dedication to the students of MSU. My transition back into education as a non-traditional student is light years less stressful because of her help. If anyone is considering going back to school, you would do yourself a huge favor by making an appointment with her."
"Jaime Ross is the kindest most helpful person on the planet! She worked patiently with me to solve various problems related to my work and school situation... If you are looking for help in the "non-traditional student world," I highly recommend making an appointment and talking with her... What an asset to Missouri State University!!!"
"Coming back to college was an important step for me in moving forward with my life, and my Adult Student Services advisor, Jaime Ross, was an invaluable asset to setting me on the right path. She made me feel welcome in the college community and was eager to help me with anything. What's more, when I later got an advisor within my degree program, Jaime was more than willing to help me through a strange situation involving my course credits and the general education requirements which had changed in the interim of my first going to college and subsequent return. I couldn't be happier with the help Adult Student Services imparted to my returning college experience."
