Kim's Laundromat 415 North 5th Street, Saint Charles, MO 63301

"I don't know what possessed me to come back here. Each time I come here, there's a weird smell that permeates the whole place and I usually lose money from broken equipment. I've been waiting for my towels to dry. Set them for 42 minutes. Were barely warm when I took them out. I have been waiting almost an hour and a half for my towels to dry now. Meanwhile, my blanket which normally takes about 40 minutes to dry is still damp. Trying other machines to get my stuff dry and I've spent way longer here than at my usual laundromat. This place has the cheapest rates but caveat emptor: most of the machines are broken and owners don't care. I've lived here for years and this place has been the worst laundromat I've ever been to. This is the one others in St. Charles point to to say that they're not in last place. I thought they would've fixed this place by now as I got lucky last week and had no problems. Came here again today and it appears that my luck ran out."

"Great place to do your laundry. Some machines in the back for soap and stuff are not working. Also no atm machine to get money out to get quarters so make sure to bring money in 1s,5s,10s or 20s. Everything is coin operated. They have a lot of washer and dryers. A small vending machine in the back, and a bunch of coin machines."

"I guess it's good enough for a laundry mat. Some machines work some don't. Place is kind of a dump. Someone just buy it a gut it an start over. Not sure how it's up to code."

"This place has 6 oversized washers, of which only ONE was working. As the photos shows, all the other ones were "out of order." No problem, I loaded that one that was not "out of order," but once it filled with water, the water started gushing out. The door was completely locked but once all the water oozed out, the machine sensed a problem and stopped working. Since there was nobody attending the laundromat, I had no idea what to do, except to keep pressing/pushing the door as close as possible so the machine would start working again...and continue working. I had to continue doing that until the end (approx 30-35 minutes). Furthermore, the facility was very cold (January, no heat) and there's no one attending it."

"Not gunna lie, this place has a strange atmosphere. Maybe just because I came at night and was the only one here? Maybe the kind of desolate location? Not sure exactly but it makes me think of one of laundromats in the 80’s movies. But back to the actual review: TONS of machines. This is great because even if it was busy, you wouldn’t have to fight the crowd for access. But also because they’re all different sizes and prices that you can pick and choose to fit your needs. Lots of carts available. Soo dispensers and change machines. Even some coin operated candy machines. There are also some seating options with magazines. One thing that really sets this laundromat apart is that fact that it has a customer restroom. Is it the best? No. But the fact that they even have one speaks volumes! All in all, I would definitely recommend!"
