"After 12 weeks, 2 days and paying $21,000 we received a mesley 9 page detailed P&L report. Can’t vouch for New Lyfe’s bookkeeping services but the “CEO” services definitely felt like a sham. We were charged a start up fee to get our books reviewed for 2022. Once that process was complete, the agenda was to move on to the 2023 books and once the books were all reviewed, then we could begin the CEO consulting services. Problem was that it took them 3 months just to review 2022 books. I can understand life happens, however, what I can’t understand is how any business feels ethical while continuing to collect payment month over month for a service that is not being provided. Now one could speculate, perhaps we delayed the process & they weren’t handed all data needed, but not the case. The two very people who were assigned to work our file both went on vacation at the same time. I followed up a total of 7 times month one and received two different apology emails in admitting to the ball being dropped on their end. Fast forward and on week 12, a meeting was finally scheduled with Jessica and the team to have our first “consultation services meeting”. Only it never took place because Jessica herself emailed me 20 minutes prior to our meeting firing me as a client due to my unprofessionalism for standing them up. Turns out, their admins set up the meeting for the wrong time zone. I immediately replied back to her to shed light on the miscommunication and her response included “I am sorry you misunderstood”. As a business owner I could NEVER fathom handling a situation with a customer like that and certainly not when they are compensating me $5,250 a month! Very long story short, in 22 years of being in business I have never felt so let down and taken for by any vendor partnership. P.S. I have a detailed record of all communications from start to finish if any of my statements are in question."
