"Deceptive misleading dishonest hostile self-centered self-absorbed radical and narcissistic. They promises prior to our first meeting and during that meeting and became apparent of a second agenda. I had no intention at any time and enlisting Caroline Gibbs services for an extended period of time. I already have several Health Care Professionals in place that I'm extremely happy with. I was thinking her services and willing to compensate her respectively for her information as you promise with medical procedures answering Insurance questions and possible access to financial assistance and guidance. She flat out lied to me! Don't ever contact me!"

"While she started me on my journey, and I'm grateful for that, she almost refused to write a referral for top surgery because it wasn't a surgeon she liked/preferred. I also have heard a lot about her biases with nonbinary folk. Personally, I'd never go see her again and would seek another therapist. This is coming from a therapist as well. I highly recommend Children's Mercy and KU! They both have gender clinics and are amazing."

"When I went here a few years ago to get help starting my transition, Caroline Gibbs told me not to worry about transphobic violence because "it's only the black girls who get killed." Even if you disregard this incredibly disrespectful and out-of-pocket advice, TTI is amateur hour - unprofessional and rude staff helmed by a whackjob who, as other reviews attest, charges $150 a session and can't even remember her own clients half the time. Absolutely zero reason to go here when KU Med and KC Care exist."

"I have done a lot of work with Caroline over the years including mentoring programs with FTM youth groups, one on one FTM mentoring, and radio shows for FTM. We have come back around full circle to work together again on creating two Men’s Groups for our local community. These in person groups are vital support systems for our local Transmen and have not been possible for many years. "I have been an active supporter and client of Caroline Gibbs and the Transgender Institute of Kansas City since I moved here from California with my deceased beloved mother, Dorothy, back in the spring of 2010. My mother and I attended private sessions and counseling appointments together and occasional open houses and outside events.
