"Horrible company. Somehow they are allowed to provide healthcare plans with clearly misleading explanations of benefits. Plan states certain things are considered "No charge" however what it really means, is "no charge unless deductible has been met". Effectively what is means is they offer plans which seem like they are a fraction of the cost, but actually double once you meet your deductible. There plans are so confusing their own customer service representative helped me find an in-network healthcare provider which she was under the impression I was fully covered while I was on the phone with her, just to find out she was wrong and I was fully covered after shelling out my full deductible. Once I found out I wasn't covered the second lady I spoke to didn't even know how to properly explain to me how plan worked and needed to speak to her supervisor first to explain that I didn't actually have coverage for something clearly labeled as no charge. I'm not sure how their representatives sleep at night, knowingly misleading people and keeping them from affordable healthcare. When they say you have a $3500 deductible, what it really means is you need to pay 3500 on top of the annual cost before they do anything to help you. Avoid this company."

"This is absolutely the worst experience I have had in my entire life!! It is April 25 2022 and I am still trying to get claims paid from July, September and November. My claims keep getting rejected because they say I don't have insurance. I have made literally a dozen phone calls to ATA and getting no where. My providers has made several phone calls and ATA tells them how do make a claim and I still keep getting rejected for having no insurance. I have even got the sales rep on the phone THREE times and I still have the same problem. I highly recommend you RUN from this shady outfit!!!!"

"Update 2022: Still the worst insurance I have ever dealt with. Previous review from 2021 (dealing with these people for 7 years at this point): Get ready for all claims denied by default. Six thousand per person out of network deductible - Get ready to go wayyyy over that unless you jump through many hoops and sign your life to the devil. While the staff is professional and responsive, the company values are a complete joke. Bleed you dry as quick as possible is their motto. Do yourself a favor and eat a pound of sugar free gummy bears and deal with those consequences first. If you can stand that, maybe you're ready for insurance with this company."

"This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. There is hardly any staff so you will always talk to the same rude lady over the phone. They will deny coverage for things that the FDA approves as treatment for certain ailments, even if you check ahead of time to make sure they are covered. Then they'll send the case to an unqualified nurse to review and subsequently deny. I wouldn't wish this insurance coverage on my worst enemy."
