Bentonville Schools Administration Building

"Last night Sept. 4, 2023 we went to the ballgame at Bentonville West. This is our third year going to watch our grandson stand on the sideline. We travel about an hour an 15 min. to get there traffic permitting. As in the past we went to the front gate paid and walked in only to find out we weren't able to make the long dreaded walk it was blocked off. We had to walk around the outside of the field to get to the home side. I've had 3 knee surgeries, my husband has had 4 back surgeries, 2 neck surgeries and one more pending. Needless to say this was a hike.Once we reach the other side we see they've put in a parking lot. Would have been nice know we could have gone that route. We are grandparents that come to support."

"This school district is the most gentrified school district in the country and is way too big to manage efficiently and needs to be split into at least 3 separate districts. Who's foolish idea was it to make the youngest kids start earliest and get home first when they might not have supervision or access to a phone? It's the High School kids who need to get up early and get used to it so they can be ready to start jobs when they graduate. Bentonville does everything bassakwards making life as difficult as possible for struggling single parents. And I'm pretty sure the food is the same stuff they serve at the county jail because my kids who are not picky eaters come home hungry every day because they say the school food is terrible. Seeing BSD get slapped down by the courts over their mask mandate was the best thing EVER."
