"I gave my first review of Autumn Oaks when I was only there for 3 months. I’m happy to say after living there for 4 years now, I feel the same way! The office staff, Barb and Karen, are the absolute best! They handle any issue very quickly and with kindness. Any maintenance I have needed has been addressed, either the same day or next day. I love my apartment and my neighbors are amazing! I do wish there was a dog park, however there are several parks in the area to visit. If you are looking for a great place to live, you found it!"
"This is the worst apartment place you can live anytime something breaks it is always your fault. They are always the first to acuse you. My bathtub had wear and tear from 3 years living there and was my fault cleaned to hard supposely.I was always on time with payment of rent and lived here 3 years when I went to move out gave them three months notice and basically told me I was screwed on lease. They do not care about tenants."
"My mother has called Autumn Oaks her home for years, and it has been a wonderful experience. We're very thankful to have found them. She is getting older, and the extra help and attention from office management, Barb and Karen, has been incredible. They are so professional, patient, supportive, and caring. We can't thank them enough for the ongoing support that they give our family. Truly exceptional. The apartment grounds are beautiful and clean. The pool is lovely during the summer. It's a friendly, safe community of all ages, and the location can't be beat. The maintenance staff is also great and responds quickly. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Autumn Oaks Apts and would highly recommend!! Simply the best."
"Been here over a year, in a one bed/one bath. It's small but quiet and everyone is really nice. Ms. Barb and the management team have been really helpful. If there are updates they communicate clearly and quickly. I had a misunderstanding with a change in my rent, and they were nice about it and helped me fix it. When I've needed maintenance they responded very quickly; someone would come to help that same day or next. I'm enjoying my time here."
"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I would rate this place a zero if I could! I lived at Autumn Oaks for 2yrs. The manager (mgr) Barb is extremely rude, and she was not truthful on more than one occasion. Management (mgmt) told me they won't replace anything no matter what condition it was in as long as it still worked. After I moved out, they kept all of my deposit & listed a bunch of reasons that were not true. I wrote to the owner of the apartments, but he didn't do anything about it, even after I sent him a detailed written letter about the lies, the rude behavior, & bogus charges. For example, I have a senseitive nose, and the toilet stunk really bad. It had so much rust & wear inside the bowl & under the tank. But as long as it still flushed, they told me they wouldn't replace it. For example, the floor trim in front of the bathroom, laundry room, & bedroom doorways weren't securely holding down the carpet in the hallways, and as a result, the ends of the carpet became a little frayed. The ends just needed to be trimmed & hammered back under the floor trimming properly. But Autumn Oaks charged me close to $200 of my deposit!! For example, the inside of the oven was really nasty when I moved in, so I added it to the move-in sheet all new tenants received, and I also called and told Barb about it. But when I moved out, she ignored the move-in sheet & kept more of my deposit money for it anyway! For example, there were several bulbs in the light fixtures in a few rooms, but they're really bright, so I always untwist all the bulbs so that they cut off except one. Again, they charged me money for each bulb. I called Barb & told her the lights all work & that they just need to be twisted so they come back on. But she ignored me & again kept even more of my deposit anyway! For example, we thoroughly vacuumed all the rooms & checked them to make sure we didn't miss anything. But Barb tried to claim there were crumbs, and saying carpet was dirty. Really?! That's a lie! And again, she kept even more of my deposit! This is not the full list of all the things they charged me for, and ultimately, she kept ALL of my deposit! Again I say, I'd give this place a zero if I could!"
