Sunrise Valley Apartments

"Idk where to start here, I rented a 2 bedroom about 5yrs ago here. First off they asked for a $1,000 deposit and $1,000 “last month” rent and a $600 first month rent so yeah $2,600 right off the bat, the apartment was never cleaned out before I moved in, carpets were dirty window shades broken, counter tops were broken on some areas and stain on the walls, the landlord said she couldn’t take pictures of the place before I could move in and I was on a post I couldn’t wait any longer to move in I had 2 small kids and it was literally winter at that time. People take your laundry out of the washers before the washers are done washing your clothing, dryers don’t work, and I had a person tell my 3yr old and 4 yr old at that time in the park that they were going to cut my children in to pieces and put them in a trash bag for me, just because I simply went in laundromat to pick up our clothing and my kids were throwing pee gravel up in the air, this guy came running from an apartment to yell at them. So I decided to move before my yr was up and when I talked to the land lord and told her my situation about the man thing how she never took pictures of apartment and how everything was damaged she said she couldn’t help me with that and that I will be charged for all the damages done to the apartment. And so be it I left and later after about a week I was charged for the rest of yrs worth of rent and all the damage done to the apartment that was already there before I lived in. Regardless I never paid it!"

"So here is the rundown. Since day one there has been a roach problem, and we have told management 7 times and have only seen the pest control guy twice. I had to call the police on our neighbors because he decided to get high at 4 in the morning and started slashing tires. Every time we contacted management we have either gotten a bad attitude, no response, or literally being yelled at because we asked for something to be fixed. To top it off they raised the rent from $595 to $825 for a one bedroom. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!!"

"Moved here last year due to needing a roof over my head after leaving an abusive relationship. Knew it wasn’t ideal but it was something. Extremely unprofessionally run with a major lack of communication. When you do finally hear back, they’re not in the wrong, you are, and jump to threats of sorts that don’t even hold up or make sense. Very unsafe environment with heavy drug use and police being called to various buildings at least once a month which they’re aware of and do nothing about. Coming up as a close second to red barn community. Would never advise these apartments."

"Very affordable apartments with a laundromat on site as well as a small playground. There is studio apartments as well as 1and 2 bedroom units. Some of the units have a covered carport as well. These are in the Washington School District."
