Reviews
"You guys are doing a great job! I know there is so many bad reviews. It's ridiculous how people don't understand the way transportation works. I myself have had many experiences (9 years) and you guys are amazing. My children have had some amazing bus drivers. I also have great things to say about the office staff. You guys are amazing. Thank you for doing all you do."
"You left our special needs child at the house with no one present at a new time than you normally drop off because you keep changing the schedule in 3 days the time has change 3 times. This is putting the child in harms way. What kind of school system allows this? When we send our kids to school we are sending them with the knowledge that the school will provide care and look out for our children. School bus 236 has worst bus drivers and helpers we have ever experienced."
"Grimsleys 129 bus driver is not only reckless down dirt roads coming around corners so fast that my wife has to put the car in a ditch to avoid a head on collision, but careless to waiting on children. Called the bus barn to complain and was told by the assistant bus director that kids are to be standing outside 10 min prior to arrival, I said its December and its raining, my daughter was waiting in my truck at the bus stop so she didn't get rained on in 35 degree weather and didnt even have enough time to get out before the bus driver just pulled away. This would mark the 4th time the driver has done similar things making my child miss school that day not to mention all the days she is calling in so there is no bus service at all. They are so short handed that they will take anyone willing to work with absolutely no recourse to calling in, speeding down roads and generally not caring about the children's education, or safety. I've heard similar stories from other parents on the same route so I know I'm not the only one having the problem with the driver. The assistant director of the busses should be a politician the way he side steps any direct awnsers or solutions to any of the parents complaints or concerns. Basically telling me I should feel lucky my daughter even has a driver to run her route. This is by far the most poorly operated and managed school bus system I've ever seen in my life."
"Constant bus delays and cancellations for morning and afternoon with lack of notice. I have 2 in elementary and a jr high kid who all ride the same bus just different times due to staggered start times. The last few times my jr high kid has been the one to notify me as the bus barn and the schools failed to make any contact. Immediately after I have to call and confirm due to the lack of notification. The most ironic situation of all for me has been that one afternoon a notice was sent out that my children's bus routes were canceled yet they were going to be able to shuttle a ton of jr high kids (non-sports playing) to a football game immediately following a tailgate party. The only good thing I have to say is my children have been blessed with the best bus driver anyone could ask for and none of this is their fault."
"I would have given a 0 since I’ve had issues since I’ve moved to Bentonville and my kid has had to ride the bus. My child’s bus has been 2 hours late a few times since school started and now for 2 days the bus hasn’t ran in the morning or afternoon. I understand they are short staffed but there are a lot of parents that rely on the bus to get their kids to and from school so they can get to work. I had issues with the bus last year as well and the issues never seem to get fixed. I think it’s time to go above their heads and get things fixed."
