"History is always an eye-opener in my book. Staff was friendly. The display of different artifacts was very nice. Every piece has a story that puts you in the era of the events. Very informative and a must-see."
"First of all, the location of this museum on the Top of Rock with its stunning panoramic views overlooking the Ozark Church and the Ozark lakes gives it a magical feel. Secondly, the architectural style of the museum with its wooden buildings, rustic appearance, and fantastic interior design lends additional beauty. Finally, the museum itself is quite big. It displays some nice animal skeletons of prehistoric species native to Missouri. Then, the majority of the exhibits portray ancient native American Ozark civilization and their lifestyle. Visitors will get a great experience for the price they pay."
"This place was really cool. I didn’t take pictures of EVERYTHING, because there were so many neat exhibits! But, the pictures I did take really made me appreciate the history. It was something I’ve been wanting to see for a few years. If you buy tickets for the golf cart trail tour, the museum is included with it. I highly recommend going through this museum. It was so neat to see all of the arrow heads, clothing and other pieces of Native American heritage and culture."
"I’ve been to few museums in my time and if Native American artifacts and history is your thing, then this is the museum for you. Included in the collection are items such as Geronimo’s rifle, Sitting Bull’s war garments, Doc Hollidays costume from Tombstone, and thousands of artifacts. I was really impressed with 2 canoes that were preserved. Definitely worth the visit."
