"Great hike! Challenging, especially when raining as there were drop-offs. Was a bit hard to find old soldiers cave but was so worth it!"
"Great venue for a hike! Complete with old farm buildings and even a CIVIL WAR CAVE THAT SOMEONE LIVED IN!!! Brave soul for sure!! There are different difficulty trails depending on what you're going for. Highly recommend whether you're local or just visiting. Hard to believe this is so close to the strip. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the views you get. :)"
"This is a great place for a family picnic, a short easy hike, or a much longer intensive hike for those interested in reaching the lake below. It is well-maintained and very clean. Trails are clearly marked and maintained as well. There are well over three hundred steps to the lake below, and some areas I only wide enough for one person at a time. The hike is well worth it."
"This is an amazing place. There is a trail with a cave and a water fall. You can view the lake. This park also has many paths. Some are really flat and easy to walk. Others are quite hard. I hike and climb a lot so they were not that bad. I say this because this place is easy for experienced climbers but can be difficult for casual hikers. If you are up for the challenge go to the cave. If you are not go to the homestead and the easier hike. Definitely worth the time."
"Great trails and a lot of options with various difficulties. Definitely get there early as it gets warm. Be sure you're able to get up the stairs if you go down... there are over 300"
