"Beautiful somewhat secluded park with miles of trails that are usually less busy than some other parks in the city. Great place for dogs, biking, and there is a playground for kids. Sometimes there is water in the creek that can get pretty high, but it was dry when I was there last. There is an old ruin building that is pretty neat and a small cave along one of the trails. I walked 5 miles here on Saturday. It’s easy to keep walking and enjoy the scenery and peace in nature but don’t forget you have to turn around and walk the whole way back too!"
"Nice park. The walks are long if you want them to be. Signing could be a little better but nice place to let kiddos ride their bikes and take the dog on a walk. If you just continue on it does not loop....be mindful of that with little ones. The caves are interesting enough with kids as is the river with the fish and turtles. We went in fall and it was beautiful with all the color changing leaves. Definitely a diamond in the rough."
"Very cool park that meets up with the Greenway trail. A little light on amenities, but over the top with scenery. There are chemical toilets, a swingset, and a few barbecue grills and picnic tables."
"Absolutely gorgeous area full of wildlife and adventure. Much of the trail at the start does not offer shade or much else, but less than a half mile in you start to see more trees, streams, and animals. I only hiked about a mile worth of the trail. I'd say I just started getting to the good part. If you are there for wildlife, I saw deer, fish, skinks, and a variety of birds just on my short walk. Great trail/park. Highly recommend!"
"This place was recommended to me by a friend. My dog and I had a very nice time there! There is a little creek just deep enough for her to swim in; there were lots of kids with their families playing in the water as well. There is a trail to walk, as well as a picnic area by the parking lot. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere."
