"Very unique and interesting exhibition about the story of how this empire was built and Mr. Sam Walton's life storie. Definitely a must see if you are visiting town. Free admission. Mr. Tim was knowledgeable and friendly. Friendly and nice staff."
"Walton museum and the history behind the first Walmart with detailed infographics. It'll take around 30-40mins for the tour and is open until 7pm CST. Its free for everyone, has a color space for the kids with scavenger hunt. Actual Walton store is 2blocks from here. Parking is located in front of the building with wheelchair accessible parking."
"Great little pocket museum about the start up of Walmart and life of Sam Walton! They are renovating the original museum right now. There is a fun scavenger hunt game to play here"
"The Walmart Museum is going through some construction currently so during that construction they have a mini museum open. Love the interactive displays like the Sam Walton display where you ask predetermined questions in a microphone that feeds into the display of a realistic looking Mr. Walton sitting on a stool who then answers the question. Very neat. Also, a couple displays that you can feel around and touch buttons that explain the items around the display. Also, they give you a scavenger hunt to look for items around the museum. If you find them all you get a little prize. I enjoyed looking around. Even saw one of the drones they use to make deliveries. It was raining so the drone "driver" was there answering questions about the drones. Also got a kick out of reading some of the excuses used on some returns. So small but packed with interesting information."
"Temporarily relocated to a different location (240 S Main St) due to renovation. It’s a small but a museum worth the visit. It’s very informative and educational. It takes about an hour to review the display and listen to videos. I spent about two hours going through each and every exhibit and watching videos. I definitely returned home learning new things about the history of Walmart and higher appreciation for those running the business and stores. It also has an interactive 3D Hologram of Sam Walton. It enables visitors to the Walmart Museum to get a feeling of what it would be like to ask Sam Walton 'directly' questions about Walmart's heritage. It's educational, inspirational and very engaging. Plenty of free street parking nearby. It’s not crowded at all and is open until 7pm."
