"I stayed here for 6 months. Very amazed at how there wasn’t people arguing, shooting, police lights! The usual noises of dogs and kids was all. I was impressed with that. Also, management tried to take care of any issues that arose."
"I love living at the Remington Park Apartments. There are a lot of nice people who live here and I would recommend this apartment complex to whoever is looking for a place to live. So far my experience living here has been a positive one."
"Do landlords have to take emotional support. and Service animals? An ESA is a medical tool and not a pet. Under Federal Fair Housing Laws, Emotional and Service Support Animals must have access to apartments with a no-pet policy and are exempt from pet-related fees. Emotional Support Animals help aid with an emotional or mental disability. ...they charge for all animals regardless of the federal law i have reported them."
"I lived here back in 2013. It was one of my bigger mistakes in life. Management does not keep regular hours, they treat the place like their own fiefdom, and they hardly ever did maintenance. My very first night there, the dryer nearly caught fire. The very first load and yes, I made sure the lint trap was cleaned prior to its usage. Later, I was struggling with a fractured shin bone and my plumbing backed up. I had to walk on said shin to the gas station every time I had to use the bathroom due to not having enough money for gas, because of missing work as a result of the injury. Maintenance took a whole month to even bother to look at the issue. The real cherry on the top is that you can smell every foul aroma from the chicken plant as well, which isn't surprising considering it is only a 1/4 of a mile away. Forget about opening your windows in the summer unless you want your home to smell like something died in it and rotted away."
"After looking at other websites reviews, I have come to believe the prior reviews are from the management here. They were all posted at roughly the same time and they are untrue. I have had an awful experience living in these apartments. We explained that we work nights and are students upon moving in. Management said this was a quiet community full of many college students--looking back I realize this was just to sell the apartment. The first two weeks it was great. But then they moved in 2 families next to us, one of which has 4 kids and a huge dog that barks constantly and the other who has children that are loud as well. People leave trash by their doors, do not pick up pet waste, and are very loud. Our neighbor sits outside constantly cussing on her cell phone and smoking cigarettes while letting her kids run wild. Management does not care. Most apartment managers have a section reserved for day sleepers. RPM obviously does not have consideration for those who work nights and study. Maintenance here is HORRIBLE. We have gone over 2 weeks without a refrigerator after notifying them they need repair. It is nice spring weather, but they are saying that air conditioners are priority over them and will not give us an estimated date of repair. On top of this, they are saying it will at least be another week. Another bad thing about maintenance is that they do not knock before unlocking your door, barging in and yelling MAINTENANCE just to change your air filters every month. Parking is another major issue. It is very difficult for residents to find parking here and there is nothing being done about this. We have to park at the office at times and walk to our apartment. It is quite ridiculous. In short, if you are looking for an apartment and have awful kids that you cannot control and want to squeeze them into a 1 br apartment and scream obscenities at them all day long, bring them here! They will not do anything about them."
