"This Walmart pharmacy is great. I've never had any issue over how long it took to get a medication or the help I received. I'd totally avoided Walmart pharmacies for a couple of decades bc of how bad the service was in the ones I lived near. This one is my go to and preference now."
"I’ve only used them for about 6 months but so far I’m very happy. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are open 7 days a week with reasonable hours. They have a great number of staff on hand every time I have come to pick up a prescription. When I submit a refill, the prescription is ready no later than the next day. If they are out of my pills, they have gotten my prescription refilled within 2 days. I previously used another pharmacy for years but post covid their hours changed drastically like closing at 7pm during the week and never open on Saturdays. I had to find another pharmacy."
"I have wonderful experience here getting my mother's prescriptions filled. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line. The pharmacists are very informative when I asked questions about her prescriptions and over the counter medicines. Everyone that works here is nice and respectful."
"Very disappointed in the lack of respect! Past 3 years I have had no problems at this pharmacy except for recently where my doctor has left notes and notated in my personal account on how my prescriptions are to be filled and when to fill them. I Was personally told by the pharmacist I am not going to fill your Prescription even though my insurance would cover it and the doctor notated that I was allowed to have it! I proceeded to ask why and he said because I am the pharmacist and I said im not filling it! So I left and went to another pharmacy and had no problems at all! Just surprised on how they have changed in the last few months! Its only one pharmacist I have had problems with but I personally will not be going back!"
"Terrible experience. My husband had a script called in around 3:30pm yesterday. I work at the dr office that called it in so I personally heard the MA leaving the voicemail. When my husband called the pharmacy, he was told they could not fill his script until he spoke with someone from the dr office because they did not leave all of the drs information. In the meantime, Robert at the pharmacy had called an office, that was not associated with the prescribing dr, giving information about my husband and his prescription. I went into Walmart and asked Robert what information is needed and he proceeded to tell me that the prescribing dr, who I work for, is not a psychiatrist and is “out of his scope of practice”. This dr is a psychiatrist and his DEA and BNDD are registered under that. I ended up calling my Office Administrator, who is also a RN, and asked her to call from our office to the pharmacy to give whatever information was needed. After speaking with her, directly from the office number, he still would not fill the script stating that it was “illegal” for the dr to prescribe it. Now, this morning, Robert called our office (the same number that the Office Admin. called from last night) and spoke with the MA that originally called in the script and said “I need to speak with someone about a fake script I received from your office”. At this point he still argued with our MA about our drs specialty just because he “had never heard of a dr specializing in both”. I have never been so angry. This is completely ridiculous that after speaking to 3 people from the same DR office he still had the audacity to call and accuse my husband of faking a script. Plus the HIPAA violation of calling another office and giving information about my husband and the prescribed medications. I will never use Walmart Pharmacy again. We will be switching our prescriptions to Hyvee and I will urge everyone that I know to do the same."
