Costco Pharmacy

"Jane is the MOST smug pharmacist I have ever encountered at Costco. “I don’t know” should never come out of your mouth when a customer has a question. FIND the answer! Thank you Ari for your amazing Top Tier Customer service as always, but Never apologize for someone else’s stupid/RUDE behavior. It’s not your fault. JANE SHOULD HAVE APOLOGIZED HERSELF!! So this ONE star is for JANE!!"

"Not one friendly person in this pharmacy. Getting them to help or answer any question is like pulling teeth. Extremely rude and suggest you go literally anywhere but here. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. lol, even doctors are giving same reviews. Lazy people!"

"The pharmacy workers are very welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I also love the texting feature and the ability to use the prescription numbers to request refills quickly and easily over the phone whenever I want. As someone with a lot of prescriptions to manage, I highly recommend this pharmacy! The only downside is having to walk through Costco with my husband to get to it and trying not to leave with a box of giant muffins."

"Called Costco Pharmacy in Overland Park for a pricing question. The lady to whom I spoke said first, I wasn't in the system. When I said I could get one of my prescription bottles to confirm that I am in the system, she finally found me. I wanted to compare the price of an expensive medication with and without insurance. She said that my doctor would have to send the prescription to them before she could give me a price. I told her I had the name of medication and dosage and she said she couldn't give me a quote without my physician sending a copy of the prescription. I asked, "so I can't find out the cost before you have the prescription in hand requiring my physician to send a prescription to any pharmacy that I want a quote?" She said "yes." She clearly did not want to look up the information that I needed. I called the Costco Pharmacy on Linwood and the lady there was able to give me the cost with no difficulty. Although the lady at the LinwoodI Costco was very nice, I filled it at CVS, where the man I spoke to also had no trouble giving a price to me. My prescription was the same cost, more convenient, and I didn't have to request a prescription from my physician before I knew where I was going to fill it."

"I just tried the Kirkland Signature brand "Campbell's Roasted Chicken with White & Wild Rice" - wow it was great! Costco does a great job bring good values and yummy items to its members! Nice job Costco! PS: I noticed someone reported issues with the Costco Tire Center below. I wanted to share that I routinely use my Costco Tire Center and have alloy wheels - and have never had an issue. In fact they once broke off a lug nut on a wheel and paid to have it replaced by a dealer. I've always had "excellent" service. If there were issues - the management team at Costco has always made it right. We do most of our shopping at our local Costco!"
