"I wouldn't normally review a UPS store but this is by far the nicest and most helpful shipping service store I've ever been to. All the employees are so kind and always go above and beyond when I'm shipping anything. I go there all the time for returns and to send other packages and it's always exceptional service. It's why I'll always choose this ups over usps or fedex"
"Embarrassed Beyond Belief! My wife and I went to ship packages and I opened the door for her and another woman who had her arms full. I entered and met my wife at the counter. An employee wearing glasses yells over me, "Ma'me, were you ahead of him?" The woman tells him, "No!" He made no effort to help or apologize for his very unprofessional behavior. Worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. My wife complimented me, at the car, for keeping my cool and I simply said I didn't want to waste my time. I'm only taking the time to write this negative review because he made ZERO effort to help or apologize. My suggestion would be to go elsewhere for your shipping needs. BTW - this is my first negative review ever and I hope the last."
"Today I needed to return an item to Amazon. Not an unusual thing for me but as I pulled up the return code for the clerk, she said. "Oh, this is to be returned at Whole Foods!" OH my, I had marked the wrong location for a drop off. Whole Foods was downtown and I had no intention of dropping it off there. I'm in Independence, 2 minutes from this store. Well the clerk said I'd need to cancel the return and change the location. As I looked at her with a puzzled look, she proceeded to take my phone and with the skill and speed most young people have with technology, she had my return canceled and rescheduled for this store, chatting with Amazon customer service all the while. Before I got home, I had received confirmation that my refund had been issued. Thank you to Alex ( I think (hope) I remembered her name correctly. Customer Setvice is still alive and well here."
"I was at the UPS Store around 6pm 12/19/2023 (understandably always a busy time of year for this industry) and the angriest, meanest older man was at the register. He was so hostile, so intentionally unkind, that even the other customers in the store were very upset by his behavior and discussed it audibly with one another in the crowded lines. He was insulting, snippy, and kept cutting me off. (I was shipping a book. I knew that the USPS offers cheaper media mail domestically, but I was trying to ask if that category was available on an international package. I began by saying, "I know that the Post Office..." "Well, this isn't the Post Office!" he barked, refusing to allow me to finish my question.) And when he didn't recognize the Australian postal code on my package (they don't look like U.S. zip codes), he simply stormed off without a word and ordered another employee to help me. It was a very distressing experience for me and everyone around me. The reason I'm not leaving a one-star review is that the other 2 employees at the counter were fantastic. The friendly blonde who assisted me had a phenomenal memory and was extremely helpful in fully advising me of my options. Another employee (a warm, short-haired brunette) joked with me and made me feel very welcome. Nobody actually apologized to me or the other upset customers, and the angry, white-bearded man clearly avoided me for the rest of my time in the store. If I knew I would always get assisted by people as friendly and helpful as those latter two employees, I would return here every time I needed a shipper. But I'm going to be honest and say that my fear of getting yelled at again by this mean man means I'm unlikely to visit this location again."
"This UPS Store is fantastic. Very fast, and awesome customer service. As good as it gets. They will bend over backwards to get your stuff shipped. Us older folks are still a bit behind all the new technology, and these fine employees are so nice to get things done. Our go to employee is, Kelly. Cannot emphasize enough just how helpful she is. Kudos to all the staff though too."
