"I purchased an apartment complex in Cooper County, Missouri. Initially, I had another property management company that I had hired based on speaking with the owner as I was nervous to find someone. Martin Management called the very next day but I had given my word to this other company. They understood and stated that if it doesn't work out to contact them. It did NOT work out. I think the previous company bit off more than they could chew and it was not a pleasant experience. When I hire a third property manager I expect them to handle the property as if it were their own. Treat the tenants with respect as if they wanted to be treated. Once I moved my 16 units over to Martin Management I felt an enormous sense of relief. This is my family's hard earned money at stake. This property needed a lot of work as the previous owner let it go. We have not fully gutted and renovated 9 of the 16 units and are in the process of doing two more over the next couple of weeks. We have installed three new metal roofs (one fourplex already it done when I purchase the property). We have updated the lighting around the property to enhance the safety and security for our tenants as most of them are older. Martin Management has been with me every step of the way with the contractors, the city government and the tenants. Together and I want to emphasize together we have turned this property around. I could not have done what we have accomplished without them as a partner. Ashlee, Megan and Regina are a pleasure to work with and as an out of state investor a must have with respect to my property. Whether your local or an out of state investor I highly recommend Martin Management to serve as the steward of your property as they will not let you down. I am thankful that I found them and that they were true to their word with respect to their abilities and vision for our property. My wife and four sons are deeply indebted to them for their excellent service. Now when I look to invest further I try to do it in their jurisdiction as I know the property will be in great hands.
