"Don't rent from here. The staff lacks professionalism, communication, and organization. They've violated my rights as a tenant before, and they'll nickle and dime you because they know you have few alternatives. The buildings themselves are deficient, per their own maintenance people, from a lack of insulation in walls to sloppy plumbing. They advertise "luxury". They just mean faux hardwood linoleum, and you'll be lucky to get that. Edit: thankfully I'm moving out right now, but the same fire sprinkler pipe just broke today that broke last winter. Don't give them money."
"Changed my mind . Just don’t talk to anyone here . Never get to talk to manager like I request. Extremely disrespectful and rude and hateful and lying staff. I requested repair on my dishwasher and they truly acted like I was bothering them very negative with that. But we will see if it gets fixed . Hopefully no more issues that need fixed but the attitudes and snarky comments and hatefulness needs addressed. I have no idea why they say people can come to the lounge where coffee machine is and pool tables because they run you off . Makes absolutely no sense it should be in a enclosed space. So don’t go up at any point in time to the supposed lounge because they don’t truly want you there because it’s just there for looks. Wish I could add my recording . They now refused to accept my rent. They charged over 300 dollars for late fee which does not apply to tenant landlord act. They are very sarcastic rude and unprofessional. Do not move here . They are very young and obnoxious and inexperienced to do this job. I spoke with a lawyer he agreed very strange and unreasonable to refuse to accept my rent check due to being. Late. But at least I got it on recording."
"Since new management took over -the gym AC has been broken or turned off in 95 degree weather making it unusable on most days since it gets even hotter than outside. Ive informed staff of this several times and nothing has changed other than them sometimes leaving a door open so some of the AC from the lobby gets in. -the wipes in the gym are not restocked whatsoever -the door from the gym to pool is broken and does not unlock. This is causing people to prop it open with a rock and making the no AC situation in the gym worse. Has been like this for months with nobody fixing it. -the pool is disgusting, uncleaned. The bottom is covered in a layer of sand and leaves are floating everywhere, it is unusable and has been like this for months. -maintenance has not responded to our request in over 2 months after our refrigerator handle broke off -I have not been able to pay my rent with direct deposit since the website is broken with nobody who can help and no signs of fixing it, instead Ive had to pay by card and get charged additional fees. UPDATE: Its been a while since this review (originally posted July 2022) so I wanted to update this review and remove some inaccurate information. They did eventually end up sorting out the gym although the door was never fixed until the pool was closed for the season. The maintenance has also improved a lot, they are still very clearly understaffed but at least theyre usually able to respond to our requests now, and the team itself is really nice, just clearly not being staffed or managed well. However my situation with direct deposit never got sorted and nobody at the office seemed to have a clue on how to help me or what I was even talking about so i gave up trying and just accepted getting charged an extra $600 annually just for having to use my card to pay is worth saving the headache of dealing with this incompotent management nightmare. And every time they fix a problem 2 more seem to come up. The grass is regularly untrimmed, the pool situation is a comedic joke considering its had issues for nearly a year now and been unusable and theyre still pretending like they have a pool amenity, and worst of all for nearly a month now, for some reason beyond any comprehension I can think of, the dumpster has been sitting outside of where it belongs and people have no choice but to pile up trash in the road, right in front of the mailroom. It is disgusting and it depresses me to have to live with the smell of piles of trash rotting in the hot road right by my home. Calling these apartments "luxury" is just a joke. They were much nicer when we moved in under the old management who didnt try to advertise as "luxury". edit 2: now they have turned off my water twice for several hours without prior notice despite me dilligently paying my bill on time, both times for maintenance. Notify the residents first! I was preparing food both times and had raw chicken on my hands. I am pretty sure that is not even legal to do. There is also a clear safety hazard with the stairs falling apart, they repaired ONE STAIR that shattered and lo and behold, the rest of the cracked stairs are shattering one by one too. Again fairly sure that is illegal and a clear safety hazard. I wish I could give this place negative stars. It is like hell and only keeps getting worse. Stay far far far away!!!"
"Do not move here. Listen to EVERY recent negative review. I too had lived at Lexington Farms and everything was awesome. Then they switched management and it went completely downhill. I had the same issue with our lease renewing and getting no notice. I also had renewed last year and my carpet was supposed to be cleaned as part of my renewal. After bugging them several times for six months, I FINALLY got my carpet “cleaned.” They were only willing to clean the exposed carpet and wouldn’t let me move furniture so the entire carpet could be cleaned. Stairs are falling apart. People go to the tennis court at odd hours screaming. Trash compactor is never working. There is only one trash compactor for the ENTIRE apartment complex. Rates are SO expensive compared to other apartment communities nearby. You can NEVER speak with a manager. And Sharif never knows what he is doing or remembers anything he’s said previously. Afton seems to be the only person that knows what they’re doing. Maybe make Afton manager before you lose more residents? I am very glad I’ve moved and will be telling others to look elsewhere if they bring your name up."
"0 stars. NOT A LUXURY APARTMENT. Imagine this: temperatures are skyrocketing, kids are getting out of school, the sun is out longer… what would you like to do? Probably hop in a pool! Wow! Lexington Farms advertises a clean, relaxing, open pool area for all of its residents to enjoy, I’m sure they can’t wait to use it! Now imagine my surprise when I called the office 3 weeks after receiving a newsletter stating that the pool will be open on May 29th (hopefully!) just to be told that there is no date set for the pool to open and that the repairs haven’t even begun. In fact, there isn’t even a contractor hired to START the repairs. They have known about the issues with the pool area for months, since January at the latest because that is when I was told by A in the office that they started looking for contractors to fix these issues. We are paying for amenities we can’t even use and I feel like I’m getting scammed. These are far from luxury apartments. This is not the worst part of living here, just the latest big ticket issue. I cannot wait to move out of this place."
