"I lived here for a year and absolutely loved it! Every apartment has its pro's and con's, regardless of where you go- however the management team w/ At Home Apartments is what makes this a 5 star rating! We lived on the first floor and one of the issues we unfortunately had to deal w/ was flooding since it was a sunken in patio. However we were informed of this before moving in and the team did a very good job at communicating to everyone that heavy rains were going to happen and to even offer to clean patios if no one was home. This is just an example of how they communicated properly w/ tenants. The apartments themselves are spacious and well kept! There is shared laundry so you have to be timely w/ getting clothes done, but no quarters are required! Its in a nice area hidden behind trees and despite being next to a busy street its relatively quiet! I would recommend this place to anyone I know! We had to move only due to needing just a bit more space - however we are still under At Home Apartments care at another residence and we love to say they make the experiences worth while!"

"Completely unprofessional. Had an appointment with them for an apartment viewing. Instead of calling to inform us that an application had been submitted to them, they cancelled our appointment via text. I understand that someone who puts money down on an application is going to get priority, but at least have the decency to call. Just common business practice."

"I lived here for 2 years and was truly satisfied. Robynn was helpful when I was moving in and always gave prompt responses to all my queries. The location is great being close to downtown, parks, grocery stores, restaurants and even highways.I got a newly renovated 1 bed apartment back in 2015. The rent that time was perfect. However, over the time I feel like the rent has been increasing at a faster than comfortable rate considering they don't have amenities like a gym or a pool. In a couple years it might actually compete against prices in the downtown or plaza area. Another minor issue I have is that they cut $40 off my deposit to use some Ozone thingy to remove some kind of odor from the apartment at move out. I am not sure what kind of odor they meant as I usually kept the apt clean and de-odorized by spraying fresheners every couple of days. Overall, nice place to stay at and I do recommend."

"My girlfriend and I have had an excellent experience at Highpointe Apartments. The two bedroom unit is newly renovated, spacious, and inviting. The rent is 100% reasonable and gets you way more space than neighborhoods closer to downtown. The maintenance crew and leasing office respond promptly and courteously to any and all requests. The complex is nicely tucked away from the main road and fenced off from the surrounding areas; it feels private and secure. We literally never hear our neighbors. We're a short, short drive away from parks, grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, the highway - you name it. It's also the perfect location if you happen to commute to Lawrence or anywhere west of KC, which I do. We have nothing but great things to say about Highpointe."
